Awkward!

I do feel for the players though, who made their selection of college based on who was coaching them.  How will our quarterbacks feel if/when Moorhead leaves?

It definitely puts them in an awkward situation if he does leave.  It also makes it exponentially more difficult for the new starting QB next season....having to face Georgia with only 1-2 games under your belt while learning a new offensive scheme and meshing with a new playcaller?  That kind of timing is terrible...

Hire Cale Gundy, bring in Rattler?  🤣

It truly must be tough when the coach who recruited you takes off for a better offer. Sadly, that is the nature of the college game, as well as society, these days. The whole notion of loyalty takes a back seat to the mighty dollar.

Not only the dollar. Riley, though he denies it, made the move to USC because he thinks it will be easier to win there than it will be with Oklahoma in the SEC.

And they lost to OK State in the Big 12. 🙂

And he’s right. A bigger payday and an easier ride to the CFP. No brainer.

Cale Gundy is related to Mike Gundy.  I'll pass on that one.
