The local paper listed Donte as a starting, and wrote about how Will Richardson and Dana Altman had a heart-to-heart to get some things going again on offense. Yeah, it is interesting, we have all of the 4-5* 7-footers but none of them are/were instant impact players like the Zags Chet Holmgren. So,it well be interesting to see how this team gels together as the season progresses and who begins to shine. Then, bring in possibly a lottery pick point guard next season, teamed up with these more experienced players next year, and buckle your seat belts. C J No. 7 Share Posted December 2, 2021 I can only imagine Altman's discussion with the team about the defensive effort tonight against UC Riverside. It was atrocious. They gave up so many easy buckets to small guards driving to the rim. Not to mention a good amount of offensive rebounds. Offense looked real good in the first half but sputtered for a good 10+ minutes just before half and well into the 2nd half. Lot's of dribbling by Richardson and very poor ball movement during that part of the game for the Ducks offense. Overall though I really liked seeing Richardson be assertive and Dante is on the precipice of becoming a major contributor. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
