2 out of 3, in this case, is bad. Aranda? 2nd year as a HC. Has a 2L team in the Sugar Bowl. Why does the author think Aranda will take any team to the Final 4? Luke Fickell, whose Cincy team will be joining Aranda in the B12, has his team into the final 4. So why not Fickell instead of Aranda?

 

Chip can't recruit. Pete worked at Oregon but he has a gig at FOX and a gig at UW. Why does anyone believe that Pete has any interest in returning to the fray? And he made the PO and was blown out by Bama. He is a good but not a great recruiter.

 

Every guy who has ever coached with his heart still beating will pop up on someone's list until a hire is made.

Wait you think we have a shot at Fickell? That would be nice. I do like Aranda but I think Oregon should also try Matt Campbell.

Also.. he doesn't want to recruit. 

 

Recruiting is probably 80% of the job these days. You have to love recruiting.
