One mistake the PAC12 made was not to expand to more teams when they had the opportunity.  Let's hope this will not be mistake number 2.  PAC12 needs to follow BIG10 in this.  Two fold:

1. Eliminate Divisions

2. Cut down number of conference games from 9 to 8. 

The new Pac 12 commish has mentioned mulitple times he is looking at reducing conference games down to 8.

Thank you Annie and this would be a way to kind of push back to the SEC because we would be playing the ACC, B-10 playing out of conference matchups with both these conference's. The SEC usually always plays cupcakes and by us playing each conference every year say Wisconsin and Clemson. Say you win both those match ups. Playoff match ups with better wins than the SUCK. They got to do something to just keep up and have to stop the bleeding. There are numerous ways to make money for the league's and I believe the PAC 12 needs a boost of income after Larry leading us down the Black road.

And make the 12th game Championship week with 1 vs 2, 11 at 3, 10 at 4, etc. The Pac-12 most certainly cannot afford a 4L champion from 1 division to defeat a 1L team from the other division. Go to 8 with 1 permanent 'partner' on the schedule to assure rivalry games are played every season.

 

FOR GOODNESS SAKES DO SOMETHING! GK has talked the talk but come nowhere close to walking the walk. The network is still broke and by not expanding it will remain broke and an albatross as far as CFB/CBB are concerned.
