Charles Fischer Administrator No. 1 Share Posted December 27, 2020 Scott Roussel of FootballScoop (who tracks the coaching job openings and coaches) is stating that his sources tell him the Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore is the target of Boise State for the their HC spot to fill. If things go well--the deal should be done over the next couple of days. And that could keep Andy Avalos here in Eugene! Thanks to Notalot for providing the information... Jon Sousa No. 2 Share Posted December 27, 2020 I am hoping so. AA needs to show what he can do with top recruits before going back to coaching 3-stars if he eventually wants to head coach a good P-5 team.

Compared to the NFL he'll be coaching in a football backwater. He is very young to want to relocate to Boise as a 'lifer,' no? I I agree, Kellen may bleed Boise State Blue, but that doesn't mean he should take this job. Hopefully, he will go on and have a great career coaching in the NFL, and BSU can put a statue up in his honor.
