May 8, 20223 yr Moderator Some things just make sense and having the two best teams play for the conference championship is one of them.
May 8, 20223 yr It doesn't happen in any of the other leagues and it hasn't hurt the other leagues to get in the playoffs by having divisions and playing not the 2 best teams in their league for their title. Let's say the South is really weak and the North is really tough like it has been we would probably get shut out of title game because 2 south teams feasted on patsies. Or now it looks like it's shifted where the North is possibly the weaker of the 2.
May 9, 20223 yr Moderator When, not if, the playoff goes to 12 teams you need the 2 best playing for the conference title. No way should SC have CAL and Stanford as annual North Division opponents.
