Tandaian No. 3 Share Posted May 24, 2022 How they do golf for the championship is definitely unique to the NCAA. First four days, team score, then the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals are match play. Match play makes it interesting. You could have played the overall course with not as good of a score, but only need to win enough holes to actually win the match. But with one holes left...the Ducks are down one stroke in one match, and with three and four holes left--two Ducks are leading by only a stroke. Whew!
