If there is a bias in the top 25 rankings then this metric is somewhat meaningless.

 

Anyway the main shock was seeing Stanford right above us. Also only 1 B1O and 2 SEC teams.

The other issue is, was the rating when you played them, or end of year.  Beating a usc team rated in the top 5 at the beginning of the year counts (?) yet at the end of the  year they were unranked?
