A.J. Abbott, a walk on qb who was with us last season has entered the portal.

 

I have no idea if this is because of the 2 new walk-on qb's just added, or if they were added because they knew he was going.

 

This leaves us with 3 scholarship QB's and 2 walk-ons.

If you're a walk-on, with no scholarship, why do you need to abide by transfer rules?

 

This us just stupid

The transfer portal provides exposure which isn't available if a player simply decides to look for another team.
