Tandaian No. 1 Share Posted June 28, 2022 Riley brought DC Grinch with him from Oklahoma, where he’d been the coordinator for the last three seasons. Grinch provokes quite a bit of controversy in the advanced stats community. I count myself a skeptic, since he only has two spikes into the top 25 in F+ rankings – in 2017 when, as I wrote about last week, he enjoyed extraordinary turnover luck, and in 2020 which is a season that will always have an asterisk in the record books. I agree the USC OL is suspect and was overrated last year and they don't have depth. The DL just plain sucks and they haven't really addressed that. Height and Corey Foreman work really good as the pair of Rush LB's. Shane Lee the Bama transfer at the Mike will be solid upgrade. The Will LB I'd look for Raesjon Davis the Top 50 2021 kid to take over, I wanted the Ducks to land him. The Senior Gosforth has sucked and Eric Gentry the Arizona transfer is a 3 star kid. Biggins of 247 projected Davis as future 1st round pick and whoever wrote that article is sleeping on him. The Colorado DB transfer Blackmon will take one Corner spot and 5-star Domoni Jackson the other and they are the 2 best DB's on the team. The safeties have 4-star kids like Wright who sucked and were running 4th on the depth chart this spring.
