In the new, it's all about the money college football world the Ducks will be just fine. We aren't Notre Dame, but we have a compelling fanbase, and will be add to any conferences bottomline, that is all that matters, right now. We also have a savvy marketing department which will make the right move, unlike the conference leadership. Which Pac-12 school has the biggest fanbase when it comes to football? idontrollonshobbas No. 2 Share Posted July 1, 2022 If we are moving to superconferences, why don't the Big 10 and Pac 12 simply merge in total and become the PacBig 22? Maintain all existing pods/divisions and the top two teams play in the Rose Bowl for a shot at the Championship. They would have ample ample leverage for TV contracts, etc. Or, diid the genius Pac-12 presidents already put the kibosh on this while I was napping in my lunch soup? David Marsh No. 3 Share Posted July 1, 2022 The oreyfan base is incredible but it does have one downside.... It's not a concentrated fan base. Outside of Oregon, which isn't terribly large, the base is everywhere. Doesn't matter so much for TV views though but it is difficult to pin down a particular media market.
