The ultimate level of understanding is to teach and be able to answer the what if scenarios.

 

Brilliant coaching, as you can't effectively teach somebody if you don't know where they are at in their understanding of what is being taught. Now that Dilly has seen what each player knows he can teach them at the level they are at, build from that base, have realistic expectations.

 

Too often coaches, teachers try, and teach to where they perceive someones understanding is, but they are off. This leads to frustration, and a lack of performance, very clever coaching.

The "flipped classroom" technique brought to football.....Bellotti always said that coaches were really teachers in track suits.
