Is There a More Dynamic Conference of New Coaches in America?

Recommended Posts

Jake Dickert - WSU

Lincoln Riley - USC

Kalen DeBoer - Wash

Dan Lanning - Oregon

Add this bunch to Chip Kelly at UCLA, Johnathan Smith at OSU, David Shaw at Stanford and Kyle Whittingham at Utah and the Pac-12 (or what's going to be left of it) might be one of the more impressive conferences in the country right now - Head coaching wise.

And speculation that Carolina Panthers Head Coach Matt Ruhle may be looking at replacing Herm Edwards at ASU would really add to that list.  Yeah, Charles might be right: Speculation on the demise of the Pac-12 may just be a bit premature.  Good!

Certainly seems more watchable, right now.

Long as the Ducks keep winning, i'm happy!

When Mike Stoops came to Arizona from being DC at Oklahoma, he was dismissive of the Pac-12, and just knew he was going to eat us up.

Later, after he was fired--he admitted that, "Coaching in the Pac-12 is much better than people know."

OU football: Mike Stoops will be closely scrutinized in return
