October 13, 20222 yr All choices seem reasonable (and most are unanimous) but one choice where there is disagreement is for the Defensive MVP. I'd go with Matt Prelim's choice of Christian Gonzalez over the others choice of Brandon Dorlus. Without the backfield coverage (and Gonzo always draws the opponents toughest cover) Oregon struggles to stop the better passing attacks. His work on Mike Wilson was one outstanding example. Brandon Dorlus is not a bad choice, tho. Edited October 13, 20222 yr by Mic
October 13, 20222 yr Agree with Nix, but the Runningback room has been a pleasant surprise. I thought we would have a drop off after losing Verdell. Not sure if anyone else has flashbacks of LaMike when these new guys are running through the defenses. I have to check to see if it is 21 back on the field running for us sometimes.
October 13, 20222 yr Nix feels like an easy choice but I don't think it's wrong. I don't feel like Irving has gotten enough carries to really lay claim to offensive MVP but if he had the carries he could certainly in the conversation for it. Whittington for best offensive backup... sure. He feel he has been ok. Some frustrating runs where he gets nothing when he should have gotten something but some nice runs where he picks up chunk yardage. He doesn't have the physicality of Iriving and he doesn't bounce off tacklers to keep going. If he is hit, he goes down.
