Wow, that is fairly significant. Maybe, just maybe there is a chance to hopefully convince both USC and UCLA to stay in the conference, especially with the new CFP format.

That is strictly TV revenue only.  Making deep runs into March Madness and football bowl games also contribute big money.  B1G TEN have higher paying and 2 more guaranteed bowl games and have more teams make it to March Madness.  That money adds up.

For some... not all. 

 

USC and UCLA are hoping they are on the right side of that revenue. 

Don't forget about the revenue from The Big Ten Network - BTN.  

 

I just googled the Big Ten Media Rights Deal and there is nothing out there saying the numbers were inflated.  This article is the only one saying it, so I question the validity of the article.  If this was true, it would be all over the internet with multiple articles - just like when the deal was first announced.
