Two top-ten teams clash in the conference....and it is NOT on the Pac-12 Network?  Sports that the conference is good at....like SOFTBALL are not featured on the Pac-12 Network?  What rerun is more important?

The new commissioner has his hands full because this conference is truly a cluster right now.

A member of the media complaining that parents can't see their kids swim online is such a weird thing.

A non-revenue sport in the middle of a pandemic where schools are struggling financially is supposed to spend MORE money on streaming the event? Things aren't free, and if almost no one cares, then it seems natural that the schools and network wouldn't prioritize it.

I guess a similar argument could be made on softball... if ratings aren't there, but productions costs ARE, then... why lose the money? The Pac-12 Network isn't a charity.

The Pac-12 Network was also created and managed by Larry Scott. It was created by him by saying it was going to be "profitable", which it is not and never was. It is just a part of his messing up the entire Pac-12 conference and putting it in the bad situation we see it now - - - - an irreverent, dying P5 conference.

That is, of course why Larry Scott is being replaced.

Every Pac 12 game/meet is being video recorded regardless of the pandemic because that is what teams do, so they can watch film later.  They have the platform in place, so it really is only production that is needed.  Seeing how they do have producers on the staff, if there isn't any basketball going on you can have a producer doing the P12 swimming championships.  I don't see anything extra being spent.  Of course, I don't know all the in and outs, but everything is already in place, it doesn't seem like there is any extra cost.

Yeah ol' Larry made a $h!t ton of money though, didn't he?  Laughing all the way to the bank.  That's why you don't hire an Arsonist to run your fire department, or a tennis guy to run a conference that, to be honest, is run by football.  WTH were they thinking???
