Since so many of you seem to like the Jon Wilner articles, I have discovered a site where there is not a paywall.

It appears these are the same articles he writes for the pay sites, and the same is also true with his Mailbag write-ups where he answers readers questions regarding the Pac-12. I noticed that they are posted on this site a day later with no pay wall. Sometimes his articles don't have anything to do with Oregon so we may not have articles some weeks.

I will post those articles here as I find them. As this will be a continuing thread, older articles will be deleted to keep the thread to one page.

Kliavkoff on the clock: With the lawsuit settled, Pac-12 schools can determine whether (or when) to fire the commissioner

I think he fired himself, no? A bite of a rotten Apple was the best the man could do. If he'd had any influence, the B12 and not the Pac-12 would be gone and SC would be getting a bigger slice of a pie; a decent size pie with ESPN/FOX money going to the Pac - 18 or 20. Probably $40M a year per Pac-12 team and around $30M for the new B12 members.

He had no more bona fides for the job than did Larry and he was reporting to same schmucks.

Mailbag: The end of Pac-12 basketball (or not?), timing for WSU and OSU and more

Could the conference reform later this decade as the NCAA system collapses?

How about an emphatic 'No!'  Wilner and Canzano cannot deal with capitalism sorting out athletic programs but both write for subscription sites.

In 2032, Oregon, UCLA, USC, and UW will be bringing in $100M+ in media and playoff revenue. There is no way any that revived 'Pac-Whatever' will be considered a Power conference or bring in close to what Power 2 teams will receive.

Wilner and Canzano need to give this restructure nonsense a rest and stop congratulating 2 programs not deemed worthy by the marketplace on ripping off a bunch of Pac-10 suckers.

The Pac-2 are programs with G5 budgets that belong in the G5; or perhaps, the FCS with Idaho and Montana.

OSU and WSU are dead to me except when I am forced to watch them play Oregon which I hope happens on rare occasions.

As always, thanks fr the post.
