  2. I think the teams on Fan Duel's list are the most likely title winners but I quibble with the rankings. First, I'd switch the places of Penn State and Ohio State . Penn State has a QB returning and Ohio State lost a lot of firepower on defense and their OL. I'd switch places with Georgia and Texas. I am always leery of breaking in new QBs, and that applies to both squads (and Oregon as well). But the receiver room in Austin will be nowhere as good as it was last year while Georgia's is going to be dramatically better than last year. Plus Texas has more to rebuild on the OL than Georgia does. Once again, Texas has the easier schedule however.

  4. Is he even close to ready? Would he even get drafted? Seems like a no-brainer
  5. Finebaum did say he believed Vanderbilt could beat most B1G teams in a CFP, but I think that was only to try and cover for Alabama losing. He was pretty silent after Oklahoma beat the Tide in October. I think he said Alabama wasn't a CFP team, a statement he later went back on when Indiana and SMU got in over Ole Miss and Alabama. I just accept Paul for what he is. He has called out Florida fans many times for our calls to see Napier get fired. But then he said DeBoer should be on the hot seat after one year where he (Paul) himself said they were playoff worthy in early December. So which is it Paul, is it insane for Gator fans to grow restless after three years of mediocrity but not insane for Alabama fans to be frustrated after one year? I think he forgets the stretch of time that Alabama wasn't the dynasty they became under Saban. A furious Alabama fan delivered an all-time rant about the Vandy loss on Paul Finebaum Show FTW.USATODAY.COM As if it wasn't already obvious, Alabama fans aren't taking kindly to the team's shocking loss at Vanderbilt on...

  7. A huge domino, as there is no replacement for experience...
  8. Michigan wins 12-11. I am too distraught to discuss, but I will get back later in the week with my updated thoughts about the team.
  9. 12-10 Michigan after eight innings, as Cole Stokes came in for Oregon...and was awful. He loaded the bases with walks and hit batters, and then Ryan Featherston walked home two runs before finishing the inning. Drew Smith was subbed in, who then hit a three-run homer to close the gap to two....can Our Beloved Ducks pull this out over the Wolverines?
  10. 10-7 Michigan after seven innings, as the Ducks stranded two on base again...
  11. 10-7 Michigan after six innings, as Umlandt was replaced by Santiago Garcia, who was then shelled for a Grand-Slam. To add insult to injury--Oregon stranded bases-loaded to end the inning. My Kingdom for a Pitcher!
  12. 7-6 Ducks after five innings, as Umlandt got tagged for a two-run dinger by the Wolverines, but Oregon got the bats going! A massive two-run blast by Jacob Walsh was a great start... Then the Pride of Springfield, Maddox Molony hit a sweet single to score two! But wait! The Ducks did a double-steal of second base, and home to score Molony!
  13. 4-2 Michigan after four innings. The bad news is that Oregon's Sanford has given up four runs in four innings, and the good news is that the Pride of Sherwood Oregon, Ian Umlandt, is coming into replace him in the fifth inning. Ian Umlandt
  14. 2-2 after three innings. Oregon's Sanford got shaky, but so did Michigan pitching, as the Ducks scored on a wild pitch. But we had bases-loaded with no outs...and only got one run? Waz does not like bunting down the first base line as I do for a sacrifice to score, as I'd trade an out for a run all day when you have 27 outs in a game. I am really looking for the highly acclaimed Will Sanford that we've heard about from fall practice. He has an ERA over 5, and has not done well the last couple of outings. It is said he has four great pitches, but I'd settle for a couple right now! The Throw-Back unis are cool...

Oregon added a major part of their team in the post-Dillon Gabriel era. The team is set to turn to former five-star UCLA signee Dante Moore. Moore originally committed to Oregon before flipping to UCLA, but transferred to Eugene before last season. As the Ducks begin their big to repeat as Big Ten champs, World figures to be a major contributor. He will be tasked with protecting Moore's blindside in 2025 and giving him time to find Evan Stewart and others.
  18. 1-0 Ducks after two innings from a Mason Neville home run. Oregon starter Will Sanford has given up a couple of hits, but has settled into a groove with fast-balls and sliders. The Michigan pitcher has kept our batters at bay as well, so with the drizzly rain...this might be a day for the pitchers. Coach Waz said in the pregame interview that the Wolverines still have a great starter, reliever and closer on their staff who have not been utilized yet, and we are seeing that is true with their starter.

  22. I spotted this one as AI right off the bat. An awful lot of what we see in general now is AI and the frequency is accelerating quickly. Most of what I see on Facebook regarding our Oregon DUCKS is both AI and garbage. Thank you Charles for a great must visit location every day.

  25. That came through loud and clear after the Vandy win over Alabama. A SEC "fan" should have celebrated the win, blabbered on about the depth & quality of the conference. But all Finebaum could do was throw DeBoer under the bus.
  26. SIDEARM Integrations GODUCKS.COM Oregon won Saturday's first game in dramatic fashion and followed it with a run-rule victory over the Wolverines.

  28. I agree with Bill! Absolutely a "Play on" call. Yes, Flagg missed the shot at the end of the game, and credit Houston completely for the win. But that was an awful call.
