  13. A few 'First Loss' nuggets. In 2025, no B1G team will go undefeated. The author has the B1G going 0-3 versus the SEC. 🤬 Ohio State is 8-0 in its last eight games versus Penn State. Ohio State hands Minnesota, Penn State, and UW their 1st loss of the season. OBD hands Indiana its first loss of the season. 😎 The CFB world is well aware of James Franklin's little-game record versus top teams, but Matt Ruhle's 0-16 in his last 16 games against ranked teams is also noteworthy. Indiana defeats Illinois in a B1G 'PO Play-in game.' Let's Play Ball!

  21. This ranking includes out-of-conference (OOC) games. Penn State has its starting QB and many other starters back, a joke of an OOC schedule, and one of the easiest in-conference schedules. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/big-ten-strength-of-schedule-rankings-2025-favorite-ohio-state-faces-tough-climb-purdue-cant-catch-a-break/ OBD loses at Penn State! 22. What are the ratings really worth? They give five star kids and five star programs the benefit of the doubt. Dante Moore is a more well known commodity, but there's something wild and exciting about the unknown behind door number three. Arch Manning is being hyped like he's going to win the Heisman and lead Texas back to the promised land. Why? Because of what he did vs Mississippi State? Quinn Ewers was once the highest rated recruit ever at Ohio State. The guy became a 7th round pick. Hype and branding are what these rankings are all about. Drew Allar is number one because Penn State is going to do what Michigan and Ohio State did, we all have to believe that. Super Sayin is going to be great because Nick Saban thought so, and now he's with Ohio State and the QB guru Ryan Day. Major Underwood is the ten million dollar man. Best talent money could buy, he's got to be awesome because look at all those attributes.
  23. ND, spot on. This could be called the Season of the Roster Turnover in an era where more players graduated from college last season than ever before—one benefit of the players being paid. In 2025, Georgia has a schedule that supports Sankey's argument that 8 is enough. Home against Alabama, Ole Miss, and Texas. Road games at Tennessee, Auburn, and Georgia Tech, and the Cocktail Party versus what should be an improved Gators team. Mercy! Gunner Stockton, like Dante Moore, Julian Sayin, Bryce Underwood, Ty Simpson, Austin Simmons, and yes, even Archie, will be one of the new starters under the spotlight. No pressure, right? All the best to Kirby and the Dawgs in 2025.
  24. This. IMO, we should be talented enough that given the schedule , “solid” QB play will get us to 10-2 and a playoff appearance. Anything “Moore” will probably require great play from two guys named Moore. We need Moore(s)
