ESPN Analyst Calls Oregon Ducks a Fragile Team' Due to Supposed Late Game Struggles
And yet, Indiana is not considered "fragile" after allowing a 3 & 6 Penn State team to score 14 points and take the lead in the 4th quarter, with a back up quarterback at the helm? This writer is...

ESPN Analyst Calls Oregon Ducks a Fragile Team' Due to Supposed Late Game Struggles
And yet, Texas A&M is not considered "fragile" even though they had to squeak out a miraculous 1 point victory over a hapless 3 & 6 SC team? This writer is not only clueless, she is blatantly biased.

Oregon Has Found Its Offensive Identity
My initial reaction is, "Sadiq has been nursing some injuries and is returning to health (and form) at just the right time. It's also pretty easy to imagine Stein has at least 2 or 3 plays he can now run from the same set with the defense anticipating "Sadiq on the fade route." Not a bad option to have in your arsenal with the biggest games of the year on tap.

Minnesota Postgame: Were You Surprised?
Also surprised by how much I love those uniforms (Especially the helmets) Made us look like an elite program with national championship aspirations.

Minnesota Postgame: Were You Surprised?
"On the other side, I’m not taking away from anything they did. They played almost flawlessly. I mean, that quarterback is unbelievable. The throws he made tonight, tremendous throws. Those are Heisman-like throws,” Fleck said." Pleasantly surprised to see us play such a complete game in all facets, especially at the QB position, given the short week, the UM bye, and the plethora of key injuries.

No. 3 Texas A&M Down 30-3 at Halftime!
Wow, I guess you still have to show up and play the game. Makes last nights resounding win (with a flock of Duck starters out with injuries) all the more impressive. Keep Going Ducks!

GameDay Thread: Oregon vs. Minnesota...Let's Discuss!
Have to admit I was concerned about a short week, a UM bye, and the length of our injury list. At this point it feels like it's all good.

Week 12 Uniform Combo
I didn't love the uniforms at first, probably because A'mauri Washington isn't the best fashion model. (He looks exactly the way you want him to look-like a trench warrior ready to do the dirty work!) But after seeing the video reveal, I'm convinced the helmets look bad butt (Pic 1). And I do recall, you can win big games wearing white pants (Pic 2) Go Ducks!

An Iowa Fan: Does This Look Like....??
Dang thing grew after two full weeks obsessing over the Ducks! "As he thinketh in his heart, so he is." Proverbs 23:7

How Short is Dante's Leash Against Iowa?
I think we're going to see huge dividends from the Wisconsin game. To quote AF of the O: Early in the second quarter, the Ducks found themselves scoreless and pinned on their own one-yard line. Suddenly, after having produced minus-16 yards rushing in the first quarter, Oregon got rolling. During a 16-play, 99-yard drive, the Ducks found a formula for success in the running game that led them to the end zone for the first time. Oregon never stopped running on the way to a 21-7 win against one of the best run defenses in the nation. “To be able to finish the game with 203 yards rushing, I think shows that we figured it out,” UO coach Dan Lanning said. Lesson learned. Now apply the learning and reap the benefits!

Beavis Can't Sink Any Lower....Right? WRONG.
One of the meanings of "pathetic" according to the Oxford Dictionary is, "Of very low standard". No matter how you slice it, storming the field after subduing a .500 team is a very low standard, and is, by definition, pathetic IMHO.

Oregon Football: Time for the Ducks to Panic?
I can't get away from the reoccurring disappearance of Kenyon Sadiq. Either our coaches are doing a masterful job of disguising his immense abilities, or opposing coaches are finding ways to nullify his impact on the game. My feeling is, as Kenyon goes, so go our playoff aspirations.

If Pac-12 Money Had Been Different....How Would You Feel About it NOW?
Wow, hard to believe that is the best wish for college football JC could come up with. Talk about seeing the world from a distorted frame of reference.

C'mon....Admit You Were Surprised With the Game...
I was surprised by Kenyon Sadiq's monster game, until he got dinged up. He's obviously the best player on the field when he is healthy, so I'm guessing he was not healthy verses Indiana. If he was, different outcome!

Week 6 College Football Games -
It's looking like our date with the Dawgs in Seattle is going to be, in Coach Lanning speak, a significant challenge and a great opportunity. Who would have thought a bye week would be so eventful? And we still have the hope that Miami stumbles in Tallahassee, or the BuckNuts take a fall against Minnesota.

Week 6 College Football Games -
So, to this point, what is our signature win of the season? It's looking like it might be Montana State or Northwestern!

Week 6 College Football Games -
Was Jim Knowles tenure as OSU's defensive coordinator the zenith of his career? His Penn State defense looks a step slow and completely confused.

Week 6 College Football Games -
Looks like Penn State might lose to Oregon twice! They look like dead men walking.

Post-Game Thread: How 'Bout Our DUCKS?
We have a Heisman caliber quarterback. We have a pretty talented defense. We have a rare head coach (and coaching staff) It's all good!

Penn State Uniform Reveal: A Good Matchup?
Tried to like these, but man, the uniforms seem like a whiff this time around. What's up with the mummy theme? Are mummies a big thing with young people? Brings back bad memories of the Mandrake fail. Seems like more of a distraction than added value. Disappointing for the biggest football event of the year. Oh well, if we can pull out a W I'm sure I will love them. And maybe they'll feed into DL's theme of "Play the game, not the occasion." Go Ducks!

Oregon Football: Player of the Game in Week Five
I'm going with "mature beyond his experience" Dante Moore. One highly effective, oblivious to the environment, distribute the ball to your plethora of playmakers drive for what looks like an effortless score will suck a lot of the hype out of the white out throng. From then on it's, "Play the game, not the occasion."
