Dante Moore to Return to DUCKS !!!
Question: What kind of man passes up the chance to sign a $50 million dollar contract to play in the NFL for another year of college football? Answer: A man with unquestionable leadership ability who can be trusted and followed by other young stars with mega talent and lofty goals. Go Ducks!

Kenyon Sadiq Declares For NFL Draft
I'll always feel like Kenyon was a generational talent that we underutilized. When I think of some of the great college tight ends (Bowers from Georgia or Kincaid at Utah), you always knew they were going to have a major impact on the game in one way or another. The way WS used Kenyon, he was like Houdini, as in, "I come and I go." You never knew when he was going to show up, or disappear for multiple games. Here's to hoping OBD find ways to maximize more of our current and future mega stars like Dakorian Moore & incoming uber athlete Kendre Harrison. Go Ducks!

Are You Catching Up With the NEW Roster Management?
Although the one exception to "assemble a great team for this year and worry about next year, next year" seems to be at the QB position. There the approach seems to be, "recruit/pay the next starting QB this year with the understanding that he will get his opportunity NEXT year."

Dan Lanning Needs to Change His Rematch Mentality
IMHO all of these rematch games have a similar "feel" to them. The storyline goes something like this: The first time around was close, but we all know that OBD were the better team In most cases (minus the OSU debacle) there seemed to be an assumption that OBD had better athletes (certainly at the skill positions) and more of them When we showed up and got our butts kicked a second time, not only did we appear to be less hungry/motivated, but we seemed to have inferior athletes at most positions (O-Line, D-Line, Secondary, etc) The coup de gras on top of everything else, it appeared in each of the rematch opportunities that we had inferior coaching at every level and failed to make any of the necessary adjustments that would give our players a shot at a better outcome Yeah, I would say DL definitely needs to change his and his team's rematch mentality.

Dylan Raiola A Duck
After watching his 2025 highlights: Throwing motion looks a bit ragged. I'm sure good coaching can refine that. He seems to see the field (a lot) better than DM, especially when the pocket breaks down. His ceiling may be higher than we think.

Duck Players in the Portal Now at 15, and Coach's Comment
Another piece of the DL puzzle! https://duckswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/ducks/football/2026/01/11/oregon-football-amauri-washington-return-2026/88038527007/

Urgent: Dan Lanning Needs to Protect Dante Moore
Perhaps the best defense (of the passer) is a good offense against the opponents passer. I'd like to see DL show his defensive lineman ALL of the late and low hits on Dante from game one, and then give them permission to go get their pound of flesh. What goes around should come around. Go Ducks...Stomp out the Cig!

Oregon (Non) Availability Report for Peach Bowl
After watching highlights from the FCS Championship game last night (Congrats to Montana State), I'm convinced that great effort and "want to" can overcome an awful lot of bad breaks. It was surprising the number of great plays that were made on both sides of the ball by athletes counted by most as not good enough to play Division 1. The Davison loss is a bummer for sure, but I am confident someone(s) are going to fill in the gap and wow us with their passion to play for OBD and get us a win Friday. Go Ducks!

Please....Somebody 'Splain This Play to Me....
And since we're on the topic of blatant no-calls, how in the world did this one get overlooked? And they had the audacity to add insult to injury by ruling out JM's miracle one handed catch (which would not have been necessary if his arm wasn't being torn off by the defender). Egregious!

Does College Football Have a QB Developmental Problem?
I found the Cam Ward comparison laughable. As if Cam Ward is the epitome of a college quarterback who came out "NFL Ready". A guy named Bo Nix would have been a much better example for the writer to use, but his "homerism" wouldn't allow him to see beyond the Miami sports scene.

Does College Football Have a QB Developmental Problem?
Interesting review in the Miami Herald of Dante Moore & the supposed "QB developmental problem in college football". What do you think of his analysis? https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/omar-kelly/article314101230.html

Oregon Football: 3 Things We Learned in the Orange Bowl
I'm confident DL is going to come up with a theme that hyper focuses this team for these next two opportunities and rivet's it to its destiny of a national championship. Perhaps something like "Avengers: Endgame" in which the heroes (OBD) seek to retrieve the Stones from the past to reverse Thanos's (Whosiers) present actions, leading to an epic battle where they defeat their opponents and rewrite history. This team's best games are yet to be played! Go Ducks!

Oregon-Texas Tech Post Game Thread
Who knows? It may have been a much different game had Lanning taken that approach. Hard to argue with the edge the defense played with throughout the entire game. That came from somewhere. Perhaps it was a direct consequence of Lanning's approach. In DL we trust.

New Year’s Eve Bowl Games Discussion: Iowa vs. Vandy, & Michigan vs. Texas
Is this the same Michigan team that scored 7 points against Washington? They're up 17 to 10 barely into the 2nd quarter. AND, on the strength of the Big 12, Duke is leading ASU at halftime, and Nebraska is beating Utah.

New Year’s Eve Bowl Games Discussion: Iowa vs. Vandy, & Michigan vs. Texas
Cue the next Big win over the SEC pretenders. Michigan leading Texas 10-3.

New Year’s Eve Bowl Games Discussion: Iowa vs. Vandy, & Michigan vs. Texas
Iowa putting together a smash mouth time consuming, game winning drive. A field goal would most likely seal the deal. 34 points against a 10 & 2 SEC team makes 16 against OBD look pretty good.

Oregon Will Romp Because Texas Tech is a Fraud
Well, the uniforms they are busting out certainly signals a butt whooping is in the making. They look JUST LIKE BEAVIS!

"Texas Tech Will Make a MOCKERY of Oregon"
2019 PAC12 Championship. #13 Oregon vs #5 Utah Utah: #1 Rushing Defense in the nation. allowing only 56.3 yards per game. CJ Verdell: 18 Carries 208 yards 3TDs. Oregon 37-Utah 15 final I smell a repeat.

Uniform Reveal for the Orange Bowl
I love our green and yellow school colors. There will always be a place for them. But I really care less what colors we are wearing as long as we are doing stuff like this on the field. Are we not entertained?

Can You Believe the Growth of Benson and McClellan in Just Four Games?
It seems like our offense has become even more dynamic with McClellan and Benson in the starting roles. WS & DL are going to have to come up with an adaptive and creative plan for re-integrating Moore, Bryant and Stewart if they want to take our offense to the next level, or risk returning to our early season level. A great problem to have at this point in the campaign! Go Ducks! Trash the Techies!

Closer Than it Probably Should Have Been: Oregon vs JMU Box Score
Maintaining top to bottom buy in has to be trickier than ever in today's college football environment. When your OC & DC coordinators are wearing two hats and working for two programs, and many of your teammates are weighing their portal (income) options (or have already left), and your first round opponent is down 34 to 3, well, you get what you got last night. I thought the portal losses to the secondary were particularly evident in the second half. Seemed like the old Brady Hoke days when they didn't have a clue what defense they were trying to execute or who they were trying to cover. Oh well, as always, Go Ducks!
