You Keep Thinking That, Washington
Chip is finally having some success at UCLA, there's no way he'd want to go to the dumpster fire up North and start all over. Plus he's smack in the middle of the best recruiting area in the Pac12...makes it easier for him to do his most detested task.

Is The Committee Going to Jump the Buck's over the Ducks This Week?
However it shakes out I hope Oregon stays at #3. Just getting into the CFP is a step forward but a win would be even bigger...that's more likely against a team other than Georgia.

ESPN cheap's out on UO/WSU broadcast. Part 2
It drove me nuts that they showed the game with the equivalent of CSPAN cameras used in 2002.

WEEK 2 - FIELD FOR 12/8 TEAM PLAYOFF - OREGON GETS SOME HELP! AND PO COMMITTEE NONSENSE!
Personally I don't like the 12 team playoff idea. It's deliberately slanted towards SEC having more teams in the top 6, thereby giving them a higher likelihood of getting a 1st round pass. 8 or 16 team playoff, where everyone plays the 1st round is best. Football version of March Madness!

Taking the Temperature of the Coaching Seats in the Pac-12
I don't think so either. The sledding is obviously tougher in a place like Corvallis but he's done a good job navigating the program to better levels of success. Plus home is home, that's a tough thing to give up.

A SWEET SIGHT to SAVOR for Oregon Fans
If Oregon stays in the top 4 at the end of the season then I like their chances better against Alabama than Georgia.....but not by much.

It Will be a Star filled Night Against the Cougars
Both recruits would be huge gets. Another 5 star WR to pair with Troy Franklin would be awesome. However plucking a 5 star DL from the Huskies' backyard would be the perfect poke in Lake's eye...you know...since they're so much into "academically prowess"...

This is NOT GOOD for Oregon in the Playoff Discussion
I feel like 50% was for the CFP style points, the other 50% was to needle Lake.

The Ravings of a Mad Dawg
Wow, that's some serious house cleaning done all at one time.

AB and the Road to the Natty
Stranger things have happened. I'd be shocked and pleasantly surprised if AB gets Oregon to the championship game. Right now I'd be more than happy if the Ducks just make it to the CFP...even if they lose that 1st CFP game it's the next logical step in progression as a program under MC.

The Ravings of a Mad Dawg
They worship Peterson (as they should) because he elevated the Huskies from mediocre to above average. I do respect him substantially as he's a former Duck and a good coach but I always thought that was his ceiling....above average as a P5 HC.

A Knee-Jerk Coordinator Firing...by the Beavers?
Kind of, yeah. But today's college football is such a brutal grind now, I'm not surprised. OSU is in the midst of a crucial time to qualify for a bowl game and dropping the last 2 like that was pretty bad. They need 1 win out of the next 3, I think Stanford is their best chance.
-
Former Duck Coach to the Beavers?
Yeah I doubt Aliotti comes back as a DC unless perhaps it just misses the routine that much. I could see Keith Hayward make the move however. Given that he's a co-DC at Cal, moving to a primary DC role would be a logical step forward for him.
-
Former Duck Coach to the Beavers?
Well not really. However Canzano does make a good argument for Aliotti to be Jonathan Smith's new DC, another suggesting Keith Hayward. Interesting to think about.... https://www.oregonlive.com/sports/john_canzano/2021/11/canzano-oregon-states-jonathan-smith-sends-a-message-with-firing-of-defensive-coordinator.html

Huskies Make a Move
Firing Donovan won't change a thing for the puppies. Lake doesn't know how to hire coaches and it will continue to drag them down. Fine by me lol

Cristobal About Washington: "Everything WRONG with Football"
A top 5 ranking and CFP contention.

Cristobal About Washington: "Everything WRONG with Football"
That competitive energy is what's driving the program forward. Whether you like it or not, he took it personally when another coach called his players dumb and responded on behalf of them. I'd rather have a protective coach with fire in his belly than one who just rolls over.

Husky GameDay Thread: The Men of Washington are NOT Championship Grade
I would've had Cardwell punch that last td in. Yeah I'm a little petty like that lol.

Michigan State at Purdue (Spoilers)
They also have the best win of the year.

Husky GameDay Thread: The Men of Washington are NOT Championship Grade
Now UW has more than 2 minutes to tie the game.
-
Husky GameDay Thread: The Men of Washington are NOT Championship Grade
MC needs to tear Pittman a new one on nationwide TV like he did Hutson. What he did was completely and utterly inexcusable. This game should be over.
-
Husky GameDay Thread: The Men of Washington are NOT Championship Grade
The defense is the only reason why oregon is still in it.
-
Husky GameDay Thread: The Men of Washington are NOT Championship Grade
The offense is picking a fine time to act like it has no idea what it's doing.

Michigan State at Purdue (Spoilers)
If Oregon beats down the puppies they move to #3
