  1. A little more info on Meadow. He's a really nice pick up. Can score inside and out, solid size and versatile, plus plenty of starting experience. https://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/2026/04/oregon-mens-basketball-adds-experienced-forward-in-transfer-portal.html
  2. Great article! I think all eyes are going to be on Coach Drew and how he handles the offense. Secondary stories would be: How will the rebuilt OL mesh and build chemistry quickly Dante Moore's year 2 improvement (I'm looking for better reads, fewer INTs, step up in big games) Who will step up in the LB group? Embarrassment of riches at WR, who will rise to the top?
  3. I have not followed college basketball even remotely as much as football. It's usually the 2nd largest source of income behind football for most athletic programs...what does a typical NIL budget look like for NCAABB top 10 or top 20 teams nowadays?
  4. I would swap the Washington and USC positions in the level of difficulty.
  5. The condoms always stock up on skill players but suck in the trenches. More of the same here.
  6. https://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/2026/03/oregon-ducks-receive-commitment-from-4-star-edge.html He was previously projected to go to the Fuskies BWAHAHA
  7. Yeah my old understanding was "analyst" titles did not have on-field responsibilities while "assistant" coaches did. It appears that perhaps the "analyst" may have been renamed to "assistant"? I'm not sure. I mis-read the list originally though, Mike Cavanaugh is listed as an "Offensive Assistant" not "Assistant Offensive Line", that one's Ryan Walk.
  8. Cavanaugh was an analyst in his last stint with Oregon. This time he's listed as an assistant OL coach.
  9. One under the radar hire that really sticks out: Mike Cavanaugh has returned as an assistant OL coach. I love Coach Terry, he's young, energetic, and smart. But all of that just can't replace experience which Coach Cavanaugh has in spades. I thought the OL performance took a step back when he left for the Beavos, so I'm excited to see how the line will improve in the upcoming season. Oregon Ducks On SIDan Lanning Brings Back Crucial Hire to Oregon Coaching S...The Oregon Ducks announced their new coaching staff for the 2026 season, and the return of offensive line analyst Mike Cavanaugh might be one of the more signif
  10. Robert Duvall had a pretty good supporting role in "A Civil Action". Very good legal drama flick with an amazingly star-studded cast. I couldn't believe all the recognizable actors that were involved in this movie.
  11. Great minds think alike. Even though I'm not really much into westerns, Open Range is one of my favorite movies. Robert Duvall was great in it.
  12. Not really much else to say that hasn't already been said...30Duck was a great Oregon supporter and wonderful part of the FishDuck community, he will be very much missed. Thanks Charles to posting this.
  13. This is why I appreciate Uncle Phil. It feels like he's consulted for his opinion on certain things but his word is definitely not the end all and he trusts the people in the AD office to do their jobs. I wouldn't want to work in a program where donors have the kind of out-sized influence where they can overrule the athletic director.
  14. This has to be basically a throw-in favor for Dylan Raiola. Dayton is listed at 6'1" and 205lbs, no way he plays TE.
  15. Well, looks like stuff is already hitting the fan there. https://www.cbssports.com/general/news/lsu-college-sports-commission-investigation
  16. The "premier football brand in the Pacific Northwest"? Is the author smoking something?
  17. I think it will. He had a ton of 4th, 5th, 6th year veterans that have been in his program (both JMU and Indiana) for years. That much experience in the same offensive/defensive schemes means they knew their roles inside and out, allowing them to execute their responsibilities and easily adjust within their respective boundaries when necessary (and without a lot of prompting). Cig will certainly transfer in additional experienced help through the portal and that does make an impact. But a 5th year player with experience in other programs isn't as ideal as a 5th year guy that's been in his program from the start.
  18. I predict another Jimbo Fisher/ TAM fiasco.
  19. Seattle's not bad, sunny during the day but it freezes at night so I have to salt my driveway and doorsteps every couple days.
  20. I've got mixed feelings about this. I'd be ok with something like a shoulder patch, very minimal. But if they start trotting out players that look like Nascar drivers then 🤮
  21. Love the article! The next season will be interesting as there's much more starting depth returning than the previous season. Echoing the obvious, Dante will need to show continued growth in his ability to read defenses and keep his eyes downfield under pressure. He showed steady improvement over the course of this past season so there's no reason to believe he won't. The big question mark on offense (to me) will be the offensive line. Last season it was good (maybe very good at times) but not elite. In particular the OT spots on both sides. Isaiah World and Alex Harkey overall did well but when facing the best DLs they really did struggle to protect Dante...I view them as high floor/low ceiling guys that kept things generally stable and on a winning path during the regular season but when the CFP came TT and Indiana really worked them over. I hope Coach Dan shores up the line better this time around, before anything else on the offense can be considered the OL needs to be addressed first.
  22. They were the exception not the rule. I surmise it will not be as smooth for them next season as their 5th and 6th year senior starters age out.
  23. I read somewhere that he’s asking $2.5 million, a ton of money for a single lineman. If Oregon gets him I hope he’s worth it!
