Probably after Leavitt was let go... And probably after Avalos left.
Those would be the only two windows that would make sense for Cristobal.
Taggart maybe? Feels unlikely though.
Then Helfrich and 2016 doesn't match up with any reasonable timeline.
That makes sense to me. Way to dodge a bullet Tosh!

This short video popped up on my YouTube feed. It's Tosh Lupoi giving an interview and talking about Lanning being the reason why he came to Oregon. But he also mentions in passing that he was offered the DC position twice already in the past.
I can't recall him being offered before but I can only think maybe Mario reached out to him both times when he lost Avalos and DeRuyter?

You know you're in a bad spot if you're losing recruits to Colorado...

I think Michigan takes a bigger step down than some people realize, primarily because they lost their DC who's following Harbaugh. That defense just won't be the same next season.

He would be a nice get for OBD but TBH, I'm not that excited about Bair...primarily because he goes on a 2 year LDS mission right after high school so he wouldn't even be on campus until at 2026. Add in development time he probably wouldn't be a meaningful contributor until 2027 at least.
Great if we get him but right now I'm more excited about the other receivers we have in the 2024/2025 classes.

Sherrone Moore officially named Michigan football's next head coach
247SPORTS.COM
In news that should surprise few, the Michigan football team formally announced that Sherrone Moore would be its next head coach Friday afternoon. -
The one silver lining is that the first 4 games are patsies then they get their first bye week. That's 5 weeks for Dillon Gabriel to practice against opponents and get used to Stein's offense before heading into that gauntlet.

Sanctions could play a role in ship jumping too.
Maybe. But I think the overwhelming reason is he wants to win a Superbowl.

A winner at U of San Diego, Stanford, the Pros, and Michigan. I see this as great news for Justin. It may also be good for MI NCAA-wise with the head man at the time of infractions leaving Ann Arbor.
Now, pick Bowers, LSU WR Nabers, UW WR Odunze (I think Franklin will be off the board but if not?), or go with the D side of the ball.
Slater is solid at LT. Another guy to look at could be ND's Joe Alt to play RT.
Will Sherrone Moore move up to HC? Will Harbaugh's move have returning MI players thinking about the portal? Did Michigan's tough 2024 schedule just get tougher?
If Michigan wants to minimize the number of recruits jumping ship they'll need to move up Moore. It's too late in the game to try and swipe someone else's HC (plus I doubt they'd find someone so quickly with a similar resume to Harbaugh's).

Wow, seems DeBoer picked up a healthy amount of that Husky arrogance during this 2 seasons there.

According to the press release, fans will be offered a “shared reality” experience that “bridges the virtual and physical worlds through Cosm’s pioneered technology and 87-foot diameter, 8K+ LED domes.”
I just got a mental image of a kid wearing VR goggles, walking around the virtual football field among the players, then when the ball is hiked he gets squashed by a 300 lb stage hand.

The transfer portal has provided college football fans with no shortage of storylines. There may be another on Tuesday as the Ducks picked up a new prediction to land Washington cornerback Jabbar Muhammad.
The prediction comes from Gerry Hamilton, a senior recruiting analyst at On3, who had previously logged a prediction for Muhammad to commit to Texas on January 18.

I use Sling TV. In my case, I subscribe to both the "Orange" & "Blue" packages ("Orange" is more sports and family oriented while "Blue" is more news and entertainment oriented). I get both so that I can stream to multiple devices and because I have multiple family members with different tastes. The combined packages is $55+tax. You could subscribe to just one or the other for a reduced rate of $40 if that meets your needs.
I also subscribe to the "Sports Extras" add on, which adds $15 to the Sling bill. That gives me access to the B10/Pac12/SEC/ACC networks along with various pro sports (NBA, NFL, NHL, etc.). The price drops to $11 and reduces the number of channels if you're only subscribed to "Orange" or "Blue" but you still get the B10 networks which is most important.
Any of those Sling combos will get you all the necessary channels with exception of Peacock streaming. I didn't see Peacock anywhere so you'd have to subscribe to that as a separate service ($6/mo for the cheapest plan). My smart tv supports the Peacock streaming app so that wouldn't be an issue for me if I wanted to sign up.
For my internet I use T-Mobile Home Wifi. My download speeds are anywhere from 150mb-500mb depending on how busy the network is though I typically see around 200-250 on average. More than enough for my household.
So in summary:SlingTV bill - $70
Tmobile Home Wifi - $50
Total monthly bill - $120+tax (+$6 if I get Peacock)

Love the Miami quote "the Hurricanes have the makings of one of the premier pass-catching combinations in the sport for 2024."
Too bad they don't have the chef to correctly use the recipe.
Mario...winner in the transfer portal, loser in the regular season.

Chip Kelly Leaving UCLA For OC Job At Ohio State!

You know the work environment is bad when you leave a Power 5 HC position for an OC position. My impression is that Kelly and the UCLA AD really don't like each other.
