  1. I'd take O'Brian in a heartbeat. look at what he did at Penn State under those circumstances.  Now that is what I call leadership. It took him to a HC in the NFL. Great chance he will never go back.

Look at the Alabama offense. Without a good OL. Impressive

Don't know if he has an alma mater. Don't want to go through that again.

    I don't believe it matters.

Sounds like a winner winner chicken dinner.

  2. He restored our program and for that he deserves high credit. He will be remembered as he should be.

He was torn about this decision. Anybody with any sense could see that. That's why it took as long as it did.

I know people are hurting or wanted him to go. I don't believe he did anything wrong. He is still a man of integrity.

He made his decison to go home. You can agree on disagree. We all have our opinions. I for one still respect the man and wish him nothing but the best.  Now it's time to move on.

Thanks for posting but this is a US(C)ELESS article. Joe Brady was just fired by the Panthers. Has never been a HC. Has no recruiting track record. Joined LSU when it had one of the best rosters in CFB history.

    Agree 100 %

  4. Utah was senior ladden with lots of experience. We had the youngest team in the country.

They also ran a 12/13 style of offense which gave us fits all year. I believe having nothing but Fr and walk ons at inside linebacker was our Achilles heel against that and it showed.

It was stated above perfectly  about how to stop our offense and they did so. Nothing more to say.

Also the kids knew what was going on and it showed.

  5. I loved Chip. He was cutting edge in those yrs. I don't believe it can be replicated. This is proven by his time at UCLA.

Also he hates recruiting although now with the portal I believe that is mitigated somewhat.

There's an old saying that You can never go home anymore. I believe that applies here. What's done is over. Move on.

  6. I believe he'd be a good fit. We need a defensive coach who can stop USC new offensive coach. That's how we will be able to compete against them.

I believe he's Polynesian which would help in getting top lineman prospects.

He's young and charismatic so he can relate to the kids.

And he would be leaving his alma mater and dream school so we won't have to go through that again.

I still would prefer Araranda first for the same reasons above but if not I believe he's a great choice.

  7. We have been best on the West coast. We have the most wins and titles to prove it even with all of the turmoil for decades now.

We have the Nike Connections. We have the best fans. We have the best facilities. We are going to be OK. I know I'm optimist but I believe why worry about it.

It's going to happen 1 day at a time. We have to trust our administrators and AD Mullens to do the job. I believe they will.
