  1. That will depend on the Apple Cup on Friday. If the Cougs win, the Beavs are out.
  2. The Los Angeles Chargers saw it, even as some guy on ESPN said it would be a Huge mistake for any team to waste a high pick on him . But in this article from Bleacher Report by Brent Sobleski we see that Justin has surpassed expectations, Justin Herbert's SNF Gem shows why he's next to Join NFL's Elite Class of QB's
  3. Nobody thought Oregon was going to beat Ohio State, then no KT, and Flowe, come on? But the Ducks won, and AB got Player of the Week, and the Ducks were No.4, and soon No.3/. Nobody expected that, I'm not sure that many other teams have had their ranking based on one single game as did this Oregon team? So, it certainly shifted the focus of the season, and it's hard to see where it will end now.
  4. That was mine, and if JS was suddenly the Ducks Head Coach, I'd feel good about the future. He definitely has the Beavers headed in the right direction. They haven't broken through in recruiting yet, but are attracting good players via the portal. They are playing better at home than on the road, we'll see about that on Saturday.
  5. Leach was 4-4 against Oregon. Just saying.. He went 55-47 at WSU, In 2018, the Cougars could have won the North, but lost to Washington. So we want a coach that can't recruit, or win the big game?
  6. Justin's night: 30-41 382 yards, 3 TD's 6 carries 93 yards
  7. Justin needed 119 yards for the record. He has 170 at halftime.
  8. Okay, Mullen's last shouldn't define him, but his big deal this season was a comeback win over Samford, Aranda, Campbell, these two, I could wlcome, and Patterson, get over the TCU comeback? But Justin has nowhere near the record as a HC that Mario has.
  9. Very true, in all his years, I don't think he ever won the Conference Championship 2 years in a row. Stanford actually can make the claim that it's hard to recruit there, so that can't be held against him. But his pay check really exceeds his production. Harbaugh had a nice run at Stanford until he left for the 49ers, and Shaw kept it going for a while, but the last 3 years he's gone 11-19.
  10. Not exactly breaking news that USC and Washington will both be better with great coaches, but he was right. Oregon wasn't playing like a typical No. 3 team, but up until last night had been playing the best in the Pac-12, which is an indictment of the Pac-12 more than anything else. USC is like the Lakers in the NBA, one year in the Lottery, a new coach, a new player, which they've always been able to attract, and they're the champ. I don't think Washington is that close to Final 4 ready with a new coach, but the odds are they will be better.
  11. I can't disagree with anything, Green, there has to be some strong thought process that Mario used to go, and stick, with AB, and it looks like you addressed them. AB does embody the message that Mario has sent out from Day 1, the Kid's backing him up have not in age, or time on the field, had enough time to build up those qualities.
  12. Big time pass on the Pirate for me too. He didn't exactly rule the Pac when he was here. Now, if Jonathan would all of a sudden think he would look better in green and yellow than Halloween colors, that would be great.
  13. The Cougars would be Champs. Both would be 6-3 in conference, and the Cougs beat the Beavs.
  14. That is a good question, as a "game manager" appears to be a fit with Mario's philosophy. But, he did recruit Thompson, and a flock of WR's? This suggests that while he believed AB was the best QB this season, he's open to more throwing next season. But then there was the deal with Herbert? But he didn't have the receivers the Ducks have now?
  15. That is how it is for me as well/ Overall, losses linger around longer than do wins, and beatdowns like last night's leave a bruise. With as much as was wrong last night it's hard to get a positive vibe for the next game, the doubts that you carried were smoothed away by wins, but now are back, heavier than before. Right now it's hard to envision a good outcome next week, OBD took a bad loss, and the Beavs, a big win, and the North is up for grabs, as I really think the Cougs will take care of the Mutts. The Beavers will be riding in on a wave of emotion already high and building. OBD has to gather up and start feeling positive for the game from the bottom, and ratchet up their zeal to match, and ultimately, surpass that of the Beavs, while we attempt to do the same.
  16. That's true, it's been dominated by the Dags, but yeah, gotta play the game.
