That was indeed a great bounce back by Brown and the team from that now better forgotten effort in SLC. They needed to start fast against the Beavers, and did just that. Across the board the Ducks were the better team, except for the penalties. The Beavers came in ready to deliver the North to WSU, but the Ducks canceled that order.

 

Brown and the Receivers responded to the challenge; Hutson, Williams and McGee. The defense didn't dominate the game, but didn't give up the lead,

 

 Smith has done a great job of coaching the Beavers this season, but Cristobal had the better of him here. Smith's explanation of going for two was as hard to understand as the decision itself.

I can really only think of one coach I would call an "Imposter". Taggart was disingenuous from the moment he stood on the stage with his arms wide open, about how sincerely he was happy to be in Oregon.  Should Mario leave tomorrow, I'll believe he was Green and Yellow every second he was here.

I would not have guessed that AB was the leader in Total Offense in the Pac-12, but according to the announcers, he is. As far as the 1st Team QB, it's Brown or Rising.

You're exactly right, and often it's more difficult to keep building on an early lead than it it is to get it at the start.

It usually isn't the case, but OH. ST. is the team that just won't go away in this one, a touchdown makes it 28-20 Michigan.
