I'm serious. All week I've heard that Oregon's quixotic run to the CFP will end tomorrow. Not so fast my friend. Oregon is going to beat Utah by more than Michigan State is going to be beaten by Ohio State.

So far, the outlook on this game has been bleak for the Ducks, but not this time.

It should be, but the Huskies have had SO many over the years it's more strained from them.

And of course neither Tiki or Tierney, sounds like it should be on Nickelodion, have seen a minute of Oregon or Utah play, except perhaps they did see Oregon beat Ohio State in the 'Shoe.; wire to wire. Their opinions are worth as much as Todd McSham's are.

Wrap it up, the all seeing Oracle that is Desmond Howard just said that, "The No.3 Oregon Ducks just Might be on Upset Alert!"

Yeah, their view is slightly obscured.

 

Yogi is very good, and what I liked about this one is he sounded like he heard Anthony Newman on "Talkin' Ducks" the talk should be, "What is Utah going to with Oregon, how are they going to handle that defense, stop that running game?"

Oregon does have an identity now, they are actually reminiscent of Vince Lombardi's great Green Bay Packers teams. Bart Starr did not pass a lot, and he definitely didn't run like AB did, but Taylor and Hornung ran so well, that the offense was unstoppable.

 

 The Packers also always had a dominating defense.

The national scenario has Alabama facing two "Trap Games" in Arky and Auburn before the epic against UGA. Can Alabama fall into one of the traps?

 

USC is, " A Coach Away" from being a contender again. Of course with all it has going for it. USC needs a Great coach, or apparently one with ties to Oregon? See. McKay and Robinson.

 

Go Beavs. The Herm story looked like TV show from the start and it's about to be canceled.

Oregon's game to getting in the CFP hunt is beating Oh. St. this season. Cincy is  getting props for "Playing Georgia tough" last season.

 This is rough. Traditionally, since Bo over Woody I've rooted for the Wolverines, but I can't this year!

The Utes have struggled to match the speed and athleticism of the Ducks even in their best years.

 

Should continue to be the case this time too.

It's not going to be a 95 M deal, but Arizona has the No. 11 defense in the Pac-12!

Just hearing "Oregon" being a part of the CFP discussion is good again, and while most of the comments aren't supportive, it isn't,  "What is Oregon even doing here?"  Oregon has its hat on the table in front of the top Recruits and fits right in the discussion of teams competing for the Playoffs. It's a great time to be a Duck!

Predictable is the worst adjective that can be attached to an offense and it definitely fit to the offense we were seeing early in the season.  The predictability has become less, and while we can't call the offense vibrant, it has become harder for us, and the opposing defense, to know what is coming next. 

Interesting that  recently the games have not been close, despite the heavy leaning towards Utah in 2019, the Ducks win by 3 touchdowns.
