My bucket sloshes ND drips, but I'm hoping ŵhatever this is brings better development to the Ducks.
It's relatively apparent that the current rules have made it almost too easy to tamper with the roster of other teams, or for greed to rule the roost.
I'd rather see a system that allows a lttie more hope and encouragement for young men like TT to stay, mature and develop.

I’ve been a Duck fan long enough to remember several seasons when Oregon had no chance to play in a bowl game. I’m very excited about the chance for our team to play in The Fiesta Bowl on New Year’s Day.
Our team gets a couple of extra weeks of practice, they will get a chance to showcase Oregon’s program to recruits, and we will get to see this year’s fine team one last time. Go Ducks !!
I turned 70 last September... The first Bowl I experienced Oregon playing in was the year I turned 4... a 1958 Rose Bowl loss to tOSU. After appearances in the 1960 Liberty Bowl and the 1963 Sun Bowl, it was 1989 before OBD had to buy their way into the a sad little trip to Shreveport, LA, for an Independence Bowl victory over the mighty Tulsa Golden Hurricanes.
Most Duck fans were ecstatic for that opportunity.
LOOK HOW FAR WE'VE COME, PEOPLE!
This is something worth celebrating, despite the circumstances and the "lowly", er, HUNGRY, undefeated Liberty team opponent.
Sorry folks, but I climbed even higher on the bandwagon when I saw BO was going to play.
LET'S. GO. DUCKS!!!

I knew we were screwed when the zebra broke up Bo’s first pass. Would have been a first down if the zebra hadn’t knocked it down!
I thought the same thing... Complete that pass, and the first half may have taken a decidedly more positive turn.

Heisman be danged... I gleaned a lifetime of memories from Bo and HIS team.
Thank you, and may your future be blessed, as you have blessed us with the opportunity to briefly share your world!
Go forth and should you choose to raise a new generation, may the be people who make the world a better place, as you have done!

Heck, the first PI was on a ref...

Decent start.
Build on it!

That, folks, was a missed opportunity!

Hit em often and hard!

PAC 12 Refs should strive for excellence in this penultimate contest at the sunset of the Conference of Champions...
Given that, I suggest the O/U for egregious calls for both teams combined will sit around 18 total penalties, for a combined 185 yards.
Obviously, the cream shall rise (Or is that pond scum?)
PAC12 Ralphs!

If Daniels shows up on the Vegas Venue Jumbotron, the attempted fix is in!

The Ducks need to cut gems, and let the fuskies scatter shards of shattered dreams like confetti in the moonlight.

Wow. Great information, as it certainly seems plausible.
That would mean the actual injury took place some time ago, and he is going through what your wife went through....which means that he will be very sensitive tonight?
Could be. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
She was actually very athletic until a few years ago when fibromyalgia set in.
Go Ducks! Flagelate, flay, and filet the fuskies!
They've earned it!

Next, your gonna tell me Cliff Harris intercepted an earlier sCam Newton pass, or Newton was the saved from an Oregon strip sack by a quick whistling referee... Dad Gum conspiracy theorists!

.A couple possibilities come to mind... one is very difficult for medical professionals to identify.
The first is soft tissue damage to the joints in Penix's throwing arm or between his ribs. (I once tore the cartilage at the base of my sternum, when a spectator at a cross country race I was participating in, opened her car door as I ran by. Hitting that door at full speed still hurts!)
The other, more subtle possibility, which I once heard heard described by a surgeon as 'insidiously difficult' to spot, short of surgery, involves the core abdominal tissues.
In some cases, the white connective tissue between the muscles of the core wall may be torn, either by excessive stress or impact. During the course of the healing process, a severely constricting amount of scar tissue can develop, resulting in severe pain and reduced flexibility.
In severe cases, such as my wife experienced following a slow roll over MVA, after which she was suspended by her seat belt, upside down, until a good Samaritan with a sharp knife cut her down, it can become an excruciating experience.
More than two months after the accident, she began experiencing pain and cramp like symptoms that were difficult to believe.
she was transported from the jail (She was a supervising night cook at the time) to the ER. The pain kept up at levels so strong that her bruised the hand I was holding hers in with a grip so hard I couldn't pick up a cup of coffee for several days afterward.
The doctors ran exhaustive tests, identifying nothing that made sense.
The consensus was that it was "all in her head"...
A surgeon (His name was 'Ngo', pronounced NO!) finally decided to do exploratory surgery. He discovered a tightly woven network of heavy scar tissue, bundling and constricting the movement of her stomach muscles so much, it was nearly impossible to move.
Removing it took him nearly 5 hours!
He was deeply apologetic for not recognizing the problem earlier. Dr Ngo was also exhausted.
Perhaps young Mr. Penix is experiencing similar issues?

If this means Martinez is entering the the TP, it's not necessarily the most auspicious way to enhance his value.
Hasn't stopped other talented players from finding a home, though.

Oddly enough. I was born with a distinct fear of being seen in public wearing of all things, Orange and Black, in any combination. It was likely exacerbated by working as a corrections deputy, at the county jail.
For some twisted reason, maybe I associate it with being seen in the same light as an escaped miscreant, in the legal sense.
I have no doubt that the fact my step father played for OAC, pre--WWII, and made sure I knew what a wondrous experience in developing manliness that was. (Personally, I tend to surmise that playing smash the pumpkin in the mud, with nothing in the way of protective gear, except possibly the thickness of one's own Neanderthal like skull tissue, may have negatively skewed his judgement?)
I do, however, have, and proudly don, a collection Green and Yellow of OREGON, even wearing it where other sapient entities may observe my behavior.
On the day Kenny Wheaton scored, I slid over the north side Autzen concession stand counter where I was volunteering, leaping to the top of the stadium wall, and screamed in joy, (I even released a resounding Tarzan Yell, but hey, youthful exuberance gets the best of most of us, once in a while!) potentially deafening a larg-ish contingent of the Fuskie faithful who cowered in fear at the resurgence of joy in the Oregon fan base.
The size of that travelling Fuskie fan-base has steadily dwindled since that auspicious occasion.
My Oregon Pride has not.
The PAC Is (soon to be) Dead!
LONG LIVE THE DUCKS!!!

Having grown up in and married into another family of career loggers, I have reason to vouch for Log Haulin's assertion... There are instances that most assuredly result in an immediate, although temporary, burst of explosive adrenal output.

Age old west coast bias.
It's really true, born out by checking the myriad times undeserving west coast teams have nudged out the perennial powerhouses like Alabama, MeatChicken, tOSU and Chokelahomer for choice spots in the playoffs... Oh, wait!
I'm actually amazed Oregon has been ranked as high as they are this season, given the relative lack of nationally televised coverage they have received.

If, and I mean IF, Stein stick's and TT has an enormous breakout campaign next season, Stein will be the hottest OC on the market.
That fete would demonstrate a massive "Mission Accomplished" moment.
