  1. I wonder if its because Oregon has Covid-19 or Arizona State, or both ?? Anyone know ??
  2. Ok, I'm going out on a limb here. If I remember right the Pac-12 doesn't give out trophies for "winner of the North" or South. Only for the Pac-12 Champion. Guess who has that Trophy for last season ?? (Hint) It's not Washington. And next season, Oregon does a Three-Peat
  3. You can bet that if the conference makes a bad hire this time, Schools will be jumping ship quickly and then the Pac-12 will die a fast death.
  4. Wow, how can life get any better. Even just to have a chance at these high talented players - - - amazing.
  5. IMO Oregon has not been known for Coaching Up players that much. It would be nice to see that done more here.
  6. Unfortunately we haven't seen that much of Flowe this last season. I wouldn't count him as a backup for very long.
  7. The most underrated QB the Ducks ever had, Darren Thomas.
  8. The little engine that could, Jeremiah Masoli
  9. For some reason I haven't thought of our linebacking group as the defense's problem for 2021. With all of the much hailed "stars" we have back there and in there second season, who would think it. I have always thought our DL was the weak spot not liinebacker. Henry To'oto'o sounds like a great get for the Ducks and it would be good to have him in the linebacker house but saying he is the fix for our defensive woe's might be a stretch.
  10. That is good news. Hate to see a good player like him sitting on the bench.
  11. Thats a good question PittDuck. I would think the decision would be up to the head coach. JM can give input but the bottom line would be Cristobal's to make. With Cristobal being very conservative, so much so that he would rather sit on a 1 point lead then to get aggressive and pile it on, I would think he would rather keep one for all 4 Qtrs.
  12. Whoa ! ! ! ! And why is USC not picked to win the South ?? What is it that they lack ?? And what is it that others in the South have above and beyond USC ?? My "way to early prediction" is that USC will win the South and again play Oregon for the Pac-12 championship.
  13. Good point EzDucksit, Oregon could do a lot better at getting non first string players into the game to gain experience. I would like to see every QB coached to be very good at a couple of different plays, and used much like Brown was used last season. This would give them real game time experience that would help them improve even faster.
  14. And for any Pac-12 team to have a chance at getting to the National Playoffs, it would have to run the table. Not true for Clemson, Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Georgia, etc.
  15. Interesting article David. With all the detailed talk about Cristobal's weaknesses of coaching and games management its good to step back and once again take a look at the big picture. Your statement "Though there isn’t another team in the country in a better position to challenge the status quo of college football more than Oregon." is spot on. Despite the loss in the Fiesta Bowl game the recruiting remains top notch, and if the 2021 season shows a winning season along with a three-peat in the Pac-12 Championship the Ducks will once again be flying high.
