  1. Let me put things this way. Oregon beat Boise State in one of the worst Duck games I've ever seen. It was horrendous. The Ducks did everything they could to lose the game it felt like. But they won. Despite the score the defrnse played well. They were just stuck in the field for an insane amount of time because the offense doing something dumb and coming off the field prematurely. As for the offense... We saw flashes of what this offense could be and what it could be is incredible. Those deep balls were something to behold. Overall when things clicked they looked good. I mean special teams scored twice this game! That has happened in forever. But with all that said... They need to really start putting it together. Or else this is just a 6-6 team if they're lucky.
  2. Survived game two. We tried really really hard to lose.
  3. Or drain the clock to nothing and get a walk off field goal. I'd take that at this point.
  4. At least a player trailing him picked the ball up.
  5. In truth right now... I don't even know what could be done to save this team and this season.
  6. There are two combos they keep switching in and out. They can't seem to fully settle on an o-line.
  7. Especially after we got ourselves a solid kicker.
  8. Missing the game extra points!!???? Come on Ducks! Good TD. But still.
  9. Just me... Or is this feeling like 2016? Barely beat am FCS team followed by complete offensive line collapse and defensive collapse..
  10. No more fly sweeps! They get nothing constantly!
  11. Offense squanders a possession... And Boise Scores. Ughh
  12. When there's protection this offense is deadly. Need consistency!!!!
  13. That drive it did not look like Pickard was in the lineup.
  14. James has had a couple of decent runs. But still a far cry from where this team should be. Frustrating that Stewart didn't pick up the first down.
  15. First play was meh... Second play was horrendous. 3rd play... Also pretty bad.
  16. LSU is in a fight with Nichols State. Making that USC win look less impressive.
  17. This only happens if Denver has a truly disastrous season and Nix is the root cause of it. I suspect that won't be the case.
  18. I like to look at it this way. If this is true the Beavers will forever lose to the Ducks in football as the programs continue to diverge at an accelerated rate. This will be a permanent L on their yearly record. Their players will loath Oregon more than they do now as they will see it as a hopeless endeavor every year. The Beavers may keep the Pac-12 money but if they keep the Ducks on their schedule, as they think it is a good thing for them financially, it will become a punishment.
  19. A court blocked that from happening for the time being for anti-trust purposes.
  20. The current B1G media rights are with Fox, CBS and NBC (which owns Peacock). ESPN and ABC (also owned by Disney) will not have any B1G games unless they are big enough to be cross conference games. On the flip side Disney owns SEC media rights so there won't be any SEC games on Fox. Disney also holds onto the ACC's media rights, though some games from the ACC network will run on the CW, however, Notre Dame is independent and their media rights are held by NBC. The Big 12 is the only P4 conference that bridges the two overlords of college football as their media rights are shared by both Fox and EPSN. We have seen a consolidation of college football into really two camps: Fox and ESPN. The New Overlords of College Football | FishDuck FISHDUCK.COM This will come as no surprise to any of you, but the NCAA is dead. It ceded away its power to the major conferences through its... With all this power these two media companies have they killed the Pac-12, whether you are happy about that or not that is what happened. How Fox and ESPN Dismantled the Pac-12 | FishDuck FISHDUCK.COM FOX and Disney/ESPN control virtually all of college sports. The Pac-12 has failed to make a deal with either of these. As a result… And behind the scenes are absolutely stirring the pot to kill the ACC. The ACC Is Next on the Chopping Block for Conference Realignment |... FISHDUCK.COM Last year I wrote an article about the Coming College Football Schism where there will be two conferences that are composed... I hate to say it... but the problem as to where to get college football games in the coming seasons is probably going to get worse... not better.
  21. I think there are 5 uniform sets supposed to come out. So far we have seen the Green and White (90's inspired throwbacks) and the Black uniform (a combo of elements from the 2010's). We haven't seen yellow or an a plainer white yet. There was a leaked item from the Duck store that seemed to reveal the all white that is more akin to the stormtrooper look. These pants are probably part of that set to be honest.
  22. I'm going to be honest... I don't love that yellow color outside of the throwback uniforms. It just feels a little out of place when the uniform is trying to go for a green and white combo like this.
  23. Pretty much all the streaming companies that aren't named Netflix or Disney are losing money. So that'll probably happen.
  24. This needs a white helmet instead. Then it'd look real good. It kinda just feels like they couldn't find the right pants so wore what they could find. It feels disjointed.
  25. I remember reading somewhere that Stewart left the game looking frustrated. I can see why now... he was open on so many plays for touchdowns and one of the few balls thrown his way was a pressured pass that was a bit too far out of his reach. I'm hoping we see this team come alive this week and beyond. So much talent and we just need to see it explode!
