I was just listening in as my wife watched. Good morning America this morning. Their college football “authority” Jess Sims previewed conference championships. Of course being an ESPN/ABC affiliate she only spoke at any length about the SEC championship game and then mentioned at the end that the schedule was the ACC championship game at one, the SEC championship game at five and then the “ACC”championship game at eight. I guess there are two ACC championship games,(maybe Miami gets in one after all. Ha ha ha) and no mention of the BIG championship game or Oregon or Penn State at all?! I feel that the Ducks are the least media covered number one team I can remember. That’s my vantage point from the east Coast. How does it seem to others elsewhere?

Joel Klatt just says “how about these defenses partner showing up for the third quarter” about the Ohio State Michigan game. Way to spin it,Joel. How about just saying these offenses look pathetic. What a dipship!

How about Colorado being up 45 to 0 and throwing the ball in the end zone to Hunter. Enough already. He can have the Heisman, Us Ducks can take the national championship. I’m glad Oregon is not a me first program.

Hey Darren great article! I agree wholeheartedly. What was really annoying was how they kept replaying it with the announcers acting like it was the greatest original thing to do. 🤮 If you can’t say it, (as a 54 year old man) I will: “SANDERS FAMILY GET OFF MY LAWN!!”

Now that my blood pressure has come back under control, I have got to be happy with 11-0. I do have to wonder if missing Harper has messed up our O-line and messes up the offense even more than we miss Tez.

I am good with 9-0 but just puzzled at the lack of offensive output in the third quarter and second half in general. Is it complacency or personnel?

As I am stuck out here on the East Coast, my choices are limited for good sports talk radio. My satellite connection gives me national sports talk and of course there are the various Duck podcasts. I was wondering if there are any local Eugene stations that have sports talk throughout the day? I can’t seem to find any by using my TuneIn app and now I can’t even listen to Jerry Allen on game day, as that is no longer free.

So I wasn’t nervous before Charles article, but now it is hitting me. I live on the east coast and am always preaching about my Ducks, but they often get shot out of the sky on the biggest stage and return to earth. One noted exception was when I got to attend the Oregon vs FSU game at the Rose Bowl. Problem was, that joy and national perception only lasted one week as tOSU blasted us the next week. My pessimistic hope is that we at least keep it close and not be embarrassed. Either way, I will continue to support my Ducks. But deep down, like Charlie Browns dream, I would love to finally kick that ball right out of Lucy’s hand!

With Bama going down to Vanderbilt, that should also sour George’s close Loss to the Tide. Thus undefeated Oregon should be ahead of both in the polls this week. Of course it won’t matter for long as the Ohio State game this week will really determine where the Ducks stand. I am just curious to see if the SEC bias will continue to reign supreme in the rankings?

Obviously, he is very good. But is he that much better than the rest of Oregon's receivers that he is getting so many more catches and looks his way? Is it a good thing or a bad thing that he has become such a security blanket for Gabriel? Just wondering if anybody has had similar questions after watching the last few games?

We already had West Coast eyeballs. An 11 PM East Coast start gets nobody on the East Coast other than duck fans watching these games. I feel like it puts us in the same spot as before. I feel we are going to have to beat Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State on the regular for programming to be earlier. Snookered indeed.

Receiver side note/question: have we had a Justin Dickey sighting this season?

It just stinks that they could possibly have an easier path for a playoff paycheck after playing a gauntlet of tomato can state universities.

Not saying that they will be even sniffing the playoffs this year, but did the formation of the six pac give that conference an automatic bid? Does that mean in the future that all the rodents have to do is be better than the Aztecs and the rest of the homeless teams gathering around the embers of what was formally the Pac 12?

East Coast duck fan here. 11 PM start time is just stupid. Boise state killed me when I tried to go to sleep after at 2:30 AM.

End of the first quarter and I am not scared of Ohio State. Marshall is playing very patient and moving the ball with a nice variety of run and pass. No gimmicks just taking what Ohio State is giving.

Damn. It’s almost midnight here on the east coast and I have nightmares before going to bed.
