Ohio State's corner....whew! How burnt do you like your Hot Dog?

We won with Justin Roper at quarterback, but then HE got hurt and we had a freshman QB fill in for overtime. Ducks were down 20-3 at one point, and the highlights below were only 2.5 minutes. Love the uniforms...

As many of you may recall, I called for Evan Stewart to be the player of the game versus Ohio State, because we needed the downfield passing attack. Glad it happened! Although in other quarters....some fans believe that all the Bubble passes that went for nothing in prior games was setting up Ohio State for playing press coverage, and then we run past them as we did? Interesting stuff... I also felt that Matayo Uiagalelei would fill in for Jordan Burch just fine....and not only did he, but he had a great game. PFF made reference to how he cleaned up on a number of plays that Harmon helped to set up. I think we will be just fine without Burch, and no need to hurry his return. Finally, I've never seen such a good Oregon team at the halfway point and still have so much upside. The pundits are not seeing it, and the disrespect written about the Ducks only adds to how so many are going to overlook Oregon. Well, I did write this last summer about how 2024 will be a "Surprise B1G Tour" for Oregon, and that remains true, IMHO.

You are going to have a ton of us Duck fans channeling as temporary "Dawgs" in support of your team Saturday. Win, and we both benefit! Love it!

Unless you are Oregon....

Yep! Gotta pass rules to stop ANYTHING Oregon does! No more comic books in recruiting, no more private jets to offset the massive geographical advantage of the south and major metropolitan areas....and now they gotta stop the Ducks from doing this? Even though Oregon got hosed by the rules giving a touchdown to Ohio State in the first half? Damn. The Bluebloods cannot grant the "New Money" a place at the head of the table. It is not paranoid if they really ARE out to get you...

To me, it was the perfect example of what exaggerated offensive PI is...how can anyone dispute it?

Good gosh, we have Beavis fans who hate us more than they love their team, Washington fans who would trade three wins for one over Oregon and goodness knows how many USC fans are sticking pins into Duck-Dolls! Now we have hundreds of thousand Buckeye fans who detest us? Damn! How can you get so mad at a team with Donald Duck on its jersey? We have new rivalries being born in the B1G, and it will add to the entertainment over time. The thought of that many Ohio State fans furious at us?

Let me see if I got this right...if a team purposes takes a delay-of-game penalty to get a better angle for a short field goal, or takes the same penalty to get more room to pin a short punt....it is normal and ethical? If the Ohio State team rushes to run another play before the replay booth can react, and they eventually get seven ill-begotten points....that is legal and ethically OK? But if Oregon uses the rules to benefit...it is WRONG, and an ethical dilemma?
