  1. The players have to learn; deviate from what Dana says...and you lose. After winning six...they may have got a bit full of themselves?
  2. Good gosh, get your popcorn! First it appeared a few days ago that Cristobal was pursuing the QB Coach of the NFL Buffalo Bills, but the current OC with the Bills (Brian Daboll) is a major head coach candidate and is doing interviews. Thus the Bills QB coach, Ken Dorsey could be elevated to the Bills OC, and would get offers from other NFL teams. Which team would YOU pick? (Me? Not Miami!) Miami Football Continues Looking for OC with Kendal Briles Staying at Arkansas by Alan Rubenstein of Caneswarning Holy Crap! The plot thickens as Bryan McClendon is rumored to be strongly considering going back to his Alma Mater as a Georgia WR Coach. McClendon was a WR star there, and it would boost his career better than the ultimate dead-end of Miami. It really complicates things for Cristobal... Which team would YOU pick? Miami Co-OC McClendon Being Considered for Position at His Alma Mater by KappaCane of State of the U
  3. Cleared up; he is not taking an Oregon scholarship, as he is Preferred Walk-on.
  4. For many, this is the final push before NSD coming up in a week. The last one listed is a HS Sophomore QB from North Salem in Oregon? Recruiting Party 2.0: Updated list of prospects visiting Oregon Ducks on final weekend before NSD by Zachary Neel of Ducks Wire
  5. Great information Joshua for us Oregon fans to be aware of. Unfortunately, it really calls attention to the importance of elite defensive linemen, the scarcity of them and how difficult it will be to get them to the PNW. The Washington Transfer was a good start!
  6. That is the origin of 30Duck! Look at that....over Bill Walton!
  7. Scholarships in short supply....and this? More to the story than we know, as it is puzzling.
  8. Whoa! GREAT scoop Duck 1972, as most of us can't check every source. I really appreciate the good people in this community that post links and information tidbits. You gotta admit...with the departure of Verdell and Dye...he could start for a winner right-off-the-bat? Both sides win.
  9. The fellow in the background photo of the forum, (seen only by those on Desktop and Pad) is Seven McGee, and he has announced his intention to grab that number. No complaint, as if anyone should have a number...it is someone who has that in his name! I only wish Sean Dollars could have a Jersey number that was a $$ 😁
  10. A big one, and a direct fight with USC...
  11. So cool; the recruiting at both programs is beyond what I ever thought possible at Oregon.
  12. Wow...that is very cool. Lanning is winning the Pac-12 already over USC! And Washington STATE has a new staff rated higher than Miami and Washington? Look, this doesn't get any better...
  13. Hey Jon, THANKS for bringing that to us. Now when will the day come when a Consolidated ranking will occur...where both HS recruits AND Portal transfers are taken into account? Wouldn't you have to have a handicapping element for those who transferred out? (We would get quite a hit that would make anyone DYE)
  14. Well I am in agreement with Canzano on this one!
  15. While I recognize he is the first player off the bench and is playing quite well...I am still surprised that Eric Williams is not a starter. I thought he was better than Guerrier early on....but in Dana I trust!
  16. Some good stat lines to be aware of, and it is fun to ponder about "what-if" for the remainder of the season. A shot at the Sweet Sixteen? Oregon Basketball: Three Takeaways from Ducks Dominant Win over Washington by Jake Verboven of Busting Buckets
  17. A pervasive problem in our new sports culture... (Is "gotten" a real word for a sportswriter?)
  18. For as bad as this team was playing in December, the Ducks are playing so well on the opposite end of the spectrum. I cannot believe the transformation in just a month, and the Mens Basketball is fun to watch again! I was skeptical that the veteran transfers that were "the man" at their prior teams would meld into team-ball, but they are doing it. Shooting lights-out helps too!
  19. Not at all; what I wrote is while back and I love further confirmation of it. When you consider the level of hate toward me at other sites because I would suggest this over the last four years, and now the proof is out there? Since most of us, (and I) are only 50% correct ultimately in our many of our assertions--it is nice to be right on occasion. I appreciate your work and THANKS.
  20. Well, every one of your bullet points are items I've written about in the past and it is great to see it graph form. A perfect combo? Helfrich coaching the offense and Lanning on the defense? Your observations about Willie are not only accurate, but I'll take it one further; when Herbert played in a game in 2017 (He was injured for many) the Oregon/Taggart offense averaged nearly 50 points per game. Cristobal had TWO high scoring offenses within the institutional knowledge of Oregon; the Oregon Spread of Bellotti/Chip/Helfrich and the Gulf Coast Offense of Taggart. Dumping them both is the worst management decision I've ever seen in my life.
  21. I cannot believe all the cool stuff in this thread and the pictures. Thanks!
  22. Well, we need a running back and an edge rusher...bad. Get what you can there and take from the wonderful list you created! But Arlis Broadingham looks like a winner too!
  23. It is what you build championships around!
  24. Very exciting and deserved, but I would like to think they will end up in Top-Ten territory before long...
