DM - Miami's most significant win came in the opener, 27-24 over Notre Dame. Miami also has wins over the ranked at the time USF, and Florida when Billy Napier was still the head coach. All wins at home. The Canes suffered a home loss to now unranked Louisville and on the road at SMU. Carson Beck had four interceptions against Louisville. SMU was a late-game meltdown. SMU only won due to a stupid post-whistle roughing the passer penalty by Miami. Miami has two road games left to play. This Saturday at VA Tech, and the regular season final game at Pitt. Miami still has a shot at the ACC title game, especially if Pitt can defeat Georgia Tech on Saturday. I think it's ridiculous for the PO committee to have 10-2 Notre Dame ranked 9th and 10-2 Miami 13th because, per the committee chair, 'ND has better losses.' A head-to-head loss is a 'better loss?' Everything in CFB has morphed toward the NFL except for the manner in which the PO is chosen and seeded.
