IMO Lanning was saying to his players that he had faith in them. Apparently more than I did. To me the game was lost in the 1st quarter. Ducks are a team that thrives on 0 to 60 in a few plays-when they are not and playing a great team they usually lose. One poster said that the game plan was flawed from the beginning of the game and I agree. I am proud that they didnt let the game get of hand though.

Woulda Coulda Shoulda--at the end of the day its all about the win. I feel strongly that Dan Lanning would agree 100% Now we HAVE to FINISH STRONG. Zero letdowns. NO room for any loss.

Those are some interesting stats but they dont make the sting of losing to the Fuskies any easier especially to those of us that were Duck fans in the Don James era. No matter who our coach is, losing to the Fuskies or Beavers is inexcusable. The Ducks are a better organization than that.

DeBoer is a very good in game coach. If the Ducks can get a rematch they better come up with a more aggressive game plan.

This game is in the history books, hopefully the Ducks will rise up and learn from it. Next week its the Cougs.

So what happened today? Well, No more Bo for Heisman and we just played the toughest team on our schedule and lost so no more NCG game talk. So we just win out and play another Alamo Bowl. Am I angry? No, disappointed? yes.

In the end Oregon lost to Washington -can we learn from it?

Another point!!! Pass and run the ball forward please, If you dont go FORWARD you dont get FORWARD yards. Side to side doesnt work all that often, Our O line was manhandled by the Fusky D line in the first half. I was very surprised by that.

Im not sold on the Fuskies being a good TEAM. They have a great QB and some pretty good receivers and a decent coach. The Fuskies came out as the aggressors.

If my memory serves me right Maldonado missed some xtra point attempts too---just sayin

If this game was played at Autzen everybody would be predicting Oregon to win. Washington and just about everything in the Seattle region will mostly be considered greater than anything from Oregon. So we go in and kick@$$.
