    Ill ask this question---If you were Dan Lanning would Travis fit the mold of a NC RB--like taking on an Alabama or Ga.??? PAC 12 maybe but against the big Boys?

    At his size to be considered NFL material he needs 1100 yards his last season in college. I can surely understand why he might want to transfer.

    Academia and football ?? I would bet every dollar that I have that there are "exceptions for highly ranked athletes at EVERY school. I wouldnt lose a penny.

    Saban is no dummy and he knows how important it is for college football to have a new champion every once and a while. Not saying he didnt want to win just that he has respect for competition.

    Georgia's players werent just big-they were fast and went to the ball. Thats going to be a big task for Lanning. Im glad he is here now.

    IMO the reason the PAC is never rated very good and loses BOWL games is because of LAZY defenses.

    Ducks played passive D last year and quite frankly so did the O line-shocking that they got 10 wins.

    Lanning sure is a great D coach -just hope he can turn PAC D/Oregon D players into that. Good luck because what I saw last year wasnt good from the Ducks as far as enthusiasm.
