What a turnaround for Lewis. Comeback player of the year, for sure. Too bad we had two fumbles and a turn over on downs. That's 3 opportunities lost for field goals.

After re-watching the highlights this morning, I came away with a few positives noted below: What are your positives from last nights game? 1) KT is a difference maker are the real deal. I hope he stays healthy the rest of the season, so we can see his full potential. 2) Dye played a great game and showed tremendous heart and grit. I'm not sure he can sustain the beating getting 25 plus touches per game, but for one game I was very impressed! 3) The defense, seemed to play more aggressive, Tim D called more blitzes. Great call by him on the final play of the game to send the house. 4) Camden Lewis, everyone wrote him off after last season. Look at him now, a real weapon. Way to block out the noise and keep improving Camden! Hard work pays off! Credit to Mario for rolling with him despite the criticism. 5) Noah Sewell is special. 6) Devon Williams looks like he could be our WR1, he is bigger and has the look of an NFL wr. Here's hoping he is on the field more going forward. 7) We didn't have to listen to Rod Gilmore. I thought the announcers last night to did a great job. Kirk Morrison especially, great point made on that last Cal drive about going for 2 if they scored. 8 ) Bridges looks like our best option opposite Wright, he made some nice open field tackles and saved the game on that awesome flip pass by Gabbers with KT all over him. What a tackle by Bridges!! What are your positives?? GO DUCKS

Wow This story, if true, has me all d up!! Can you imagine Thorton, Devon Williams, and Franklin Outside. Seven in the backfield, with Ty or maybe butters slinging passes. That would be must see tv and could turn our season around! Maybe Mario was watching the Red River Rivalry during the bye week and got some inspiration to get more aggressive!

Looks good I love the helmet too! I like how the numbers have a little green in them. I wish they would have the new wing pattern in yellow on the shoulders, instead of just a yellow line.

Dye is a perfect 3rd down and change of pace back. I think the team will suffer if he’s the bell cow. The loss of Verdell is huge. Of the 3 freshman I think Benson give us the best chance at filling in for cj. Id like to see dye get the first series of the first and second half’s plus 3rd down work. Give Benson everything else for about 10-15 touches. Also, have 2-3 plays for Seven.

1) A massive amount of injuries to key players 2) Poor qb play 3) last minute o cord medical emergency 4) Horrible pac12 officiating that definitely affected the outcome of the game. These things are just a bump in the road on our path to a natty! They are largely out of Cristobals control (other than qb play) The overall trajectory of this program is up up up! Dont worry, I’ll slide over and let the rest of you back on the bandwagon, when our ducks get back on track!!!

That Auburn game was brutal. You are bringing back bad memories. But I would argue college football had less super teams back then. Less talent at the big schools and also Chip’S scheme caught the college football world off guard. I guess there is a chance we could hire a coach that has some crazy scheme and catches lightning in a bottle again, but I think the more likely path to a natty is layering talent on top of talent. Working hard on the recruiting trail and eventually getting there. Chip lost to Boise st ( I think it’s as bad as the asu loss for Mario) and took over a team already on the upswing. Mario took us out of the dumpster and already has two pac-12 titles and a rose bowl win!

More confident in him than any other coach in Duck history. He may have his (well documented in these forums) flaws, but he brings in the 4 and 5 star talent. Saban wins at bama because he has the best players. Oregon is getting to that point, after a couple more recruiting classes, we will be close talent wise with an easier path to the playoffs. (PAC-12 schedule vs sec) I firmly believe we will be in the playoffs with a realistic chase to win the whole enchilada, in the next 2-3 years. There will be some ups and downs along they way, but let’s all enjoy the ride! Go ducks!

I think another issue is Cristobal needs to find his best 3-4 wrs and play them the entire game. Right now they are rotating 6-7 guys in there and it’s hard for any of them to get into a rhythm.

I thought you guys were crazy on this topic, but Moorhead not showing up today with a mystery illness has me wondering. Did he sit out in disagreement with Cristobal control? or was he really sick? not sure, but we could have used his play calling for sure

If Brown flips that to verdell, it’s a walk in touchdown. you can see the frustration on verdells face on replay for not getting the pitch. Horrible decision to keep by brown.

I’m ok with a blackout once a year. This seasons black helmets with yellow wings are really cool, the main reason I’m looking forward to a blackout Friday night vs cal. The past 2 seasons we had the nightmare green instead of black, so it’s been a while since a blackout. Just once a year Oregon, keep it rare! Really our only concern is what the Juniors and Seniors in High School think. Whatever keeps the 4 and 5 stars coming in, is ok with me! ( as long as it’s not purple)

I downloaded the Audacy app and synced the ducks radio broadcast with the game to avoid listening to Gilmore. If you live within 75 miles of Portland you can stream 1080 the fan with this app. It worked well during the Arizona game. I Switched the audio over at halftime, couldn’t take the duck bashing anymore. Jerry and Jorge are the best!

Looks nice! I can’t wait for the all blacks on the Friday night game vs Cal. All blacks with those new black helmets will be epic!
