Depends on what you mean by developing. With the transfer portal, “developing” is now a two year event, not four year. TT is out because after three years he still seems shaky. Heck, his performance in last hear’s spring game was the worst I’d ever seen. Now, If Dante Moore joins the ducks, he’ll sit a year and then either start next year or hit the road. Same with Novosad. That is how the business is run.

Jalen Hurts, as a one and done, transferred from Alabama to Oklahoma and took them to the final four bcs. So, it can work. As for TT, I have wonder what’s going on behind closed doors. He has yet to demonstrate he can see the field at the college level. I cant imagine he’s been promised anything. But he might as well stick around because there is no marquis program that will take him, based on his performance so far. Just for playing time, though, he might do well to go for a lesser program and try to develop there. Anyway, no doubt Oregon will sign Dante Moore if they can.

Nice try, Annie, but this lousy match is exhibit A for why I’m happy to see the traditional bowls go away with the dinosaurs. And no, this ardent long time duck fan can find no excitement is a game with Liberty. Part of the bowl experience is the national quality of the match-ups and friendly repartee with people you meet from other parts of the country. I don't even know what a Liberty school is or where it might exist or why it is called Liberty. With Liberty we are playing an obscure school from nowhere. What saddens me most is that we have had a phenomenal quarterback this year, someone who could have led this team to a great victory on a national stage against a traditional power on New Year’s day. No one is going to give a rip about a contest with a Liberty. Bo is wasted on this stage and I hope, for his sake, he changes his mind.

Honestly, the game would be more meaningful to me as a fan if run by coach Lanning as a competitive scrimmage for next year’s crop. Bo (and anyone else trying out this year for the league) should step aside and give TT a chance to show his stuff in a big game with next year’s first stringers.

What a worthless match. Who decides such things? Could we have turned it down? This duck fan was ready to travel, but not no more. Not for a garbage scrimmage. I honestly dont think it matters whether we win this game or not. I just hope nobody who plans to try out for the nfl this year risks injury. This game is not worth it.

My assumption has been that when Cam kicks it out of bounds he is tactically aiming for the corner to try to limit the field in front of the possible return. It hasn’t worked, especially when Cam kicks it out of bounds. If I’m mistaken, here, and Cam simply cannot kick the ball into the field of play on a kickoff, he has no business being on the field. Time to give the freshman a run and plan for four down territory anything more than thirty yards out.

Funa has shown glimpses of greatness. This really could be the year he puts it all together. We will be watching him on Sunday next year.

Thank you for the honest assessment of TT. Other media outlets ridiculously refused to tell the obvious truth. TT cannot process the field. For most of the game he threw more catchable passes to the defenders than his own receivers. For our season, Bo Nix is going to have to be super careful. If TT really is our only back up option, and he ends up at QB, the ducks are a 500 team, at best. The one possible bone to pick is positives for the O-line. Nothing was proven to me during the spring game. I’d like to believe that the d-line is very good and the o-line is good too but needs a little more time to get organized as a unit. Otherwise, the o-line simply did not look very good at all.
