  1. The Ducks' zone D has proved ineffective in the State of Arizona. Ducks just look lethargic as a whole, except for Rogers.
  2. Ducks look a step slow in closing out and contesting shots and rebounding. Paopao and Sabally struggling offensively today.
  3. I don't care if it is inadvertent, if you make contact with another player's face, it's a foul and that team should be penalized! The refs shortchanging the Ducks on that play. In the NBA, it is either a common foul or a flagrant, if it looked intentional, with the wind up or follow through.
  4. Ducks are choking, poor rebounding and box out. Utes want it more than the Ducks..
  5. Regardless, if the Ducks pull this W, it was an epic collapse in the final 2 mins, up 10 pts.
  6. Looks like Guerrier found his three pt shot again. He endured at least a 3 game drought.
  7. That's the second hook with the elbow that Zona got away with in the last 7 mins.
  8. Officiating is very one sided in 3rd quarter. Ditch the zone defense! It's not working today.
  9. Ducks D is suffocating Buffs. Bench Guerrier. He is hurting the team.
  10. I can't fault him for taking his shot at his dream, but did dragging his feet deciding, cost us Dye in the process too? Or did Dye already have one foot out the door? I can't help but think that MC's tendency to favor veterans like Verdell, impeded the development of some of the other backs. I wish Verdell the best, but I don't think he's built for the NFL. There are bigger, faster, and more productive backs than him.
  11. Mario is about the worst coach to have on the field and not just game day. Not only does he show a complete lack of situational awareness and the inability to learn from his mistakes, his ego won't allow him to fully delegate the duties, to those experts that he personally hired and brought in to do those jobs. Okay, maybe, they weren't all experts in their fields, but their knowledge and experience should be vastly superior to Mario's limited and antiquated grasp of the game. When it comes to the game, Mario is no expert. He proved time and time again, that he is well in over his head. What was he even doing in the film room for all those hours? It certainly wasn't to prep and game plan for how to beat the other team to a pulp. He was probably thinking of all the ways that he could handicap his own team and surrender the last possession to the opposing team, for either the go-ahead TD or the chance to send the game into OT. Moorhead was probably questioning his entire time at Oregon, "What am I even doing here?" No wonder why, he was looking for the nearest exit. We all had our suspicions about Mario controlling and calling the plays on offense, but now, we know the truth.
  12. Mario just reaching the playoffs would be a major victory for him. I rather see Mario fall flat on his face his first year. I'm not trying to be vindictive or anything. He just has no business being on any football field, other than to recruit. Heck, I'm not even sure he can hack it as an O-line coach anymore. He better fill his roster with as many game ready, 5 star recruits and transfers that he can lock down. Because his team's talent will have to compensate for his sheer incompetence as a coach and his constant need to control every aspect of the game, however misguided. Even with the best roster in the ACC, his team will still find themselves being outcoached in most games, as we have learned over the years.
  13. Boy, I sure hope the coaches know what they are doing, letting him get away. I would have started Dye over Verdell. I trust the defensive coaching staff more than the offensive side.
  14. Who doesn't love Samwise in that movie? If you love the Lord of the Rings, you gotta love Sam. Sam was the most loyal and fearless friend to the end, despite Frodo accusing him of wanting the ring for himself. I viewed Sam as the true hero of the movie who had to rescue Frodo on more than one occasion and carry his lifeless body to the top of Mount Doom. In that respect, Frodo appears the helpless, damsel in distress. Without Sam, Frodo would have probably been devoured by Gollum or the spider. It was Sam's heart and determination that saw them to the top of Mount Doom. And it was Gollum who bit off Frodo's finger that led to the tussle and then, the ring being destroyed.
  15. Rudy! Rudy! Invincible, The Blind Side, Varsity Blues, Gridiron Gang, The Replacements, The Program, and Any Given Sunday were all entertaining too.
  16. Trojans answer right back with their own three. Crank up the D!
  17. Ducks falling in love with the three pt shot. Attack the rim!
