Phillipina Kyei - A Talented Work in Progress
Now a very fine rebounder and basket defender. She makes free throws like Endyia - translates to very good hand eye coordination. I think this is only her 4th year playing B-ball. With the coaching and practice drills she is now getting she could become one of the best women post. It will be fun to follow her development.

Arizona WBB Coach Reprimanded by Pac-12
Oregon 15 fouls and 14 turnovers - Arizona 23 fouls and 16 turnovers. Giving the finger to the losing coach (Connecticut last year) and the winning coach (Oregon this year) - classless.

Ducks Beat No.7 Arizona 68-66 in Overtime!
Ducks made so many miscues the first 3 quarters and still won. Graves went power big ( Sabally, Prince and Kyei)in the late 3rd and 4th - a coach decision that was the turning point on defense and offence. Ducks will just get better as the season progresses if no serious injuries.

Women's Basketball: Oregon at No.2 Stanford, Friday, 7:00 PT on the Pac-12 Network
Sedona Prince was not on the bench tonight. Don't think she made the trip. Anyone know why? She is a difference maker. Ducks played hard vs Stanford. They are competitive now, will be a force as season progresses.

Duck Women Win in Return to Action
I hope the Ducks returning from injury stay healthy. If so, they match up well with Stanford and Arizona. If not, they don't.

Career Night By Parrish Sparks Ducks
I was blest to attend the game. Both teams played hard. Ducks had 2 consistent scorers tonight: Prince and Parrish (48 of the 62 points). When PaoPao, Sabally and Rogers return the scoring will return. If they can stay healthy they will be very good at the conference and national levels.
