  1. I was a huge Blazer fan during the Drexler/Kersey/Porter/Duckworth era. Then marriage and children came. By the time I had time to watch basketball again... the Blazers sucked... BAD!

Now I only watch the NBA if it happens to to be on in the restaurant/pub and eating in.

If the Blazers ever become relevant again. I'll likely get back into it. But, that will not happen until there are new owners and management.

  2. I want USC to fail and fail big.

I think I would prefer UW to be good. But, not ever good enough to beat our Ducks. I feel that would cause them the most pain.

I want CU to fall back into their forgotten state where they belong.

I want Utah to be King of the Big12.

I wish the best for the rest. I'd love for them all to be towards the top of their new conferences... and for the two that don't have conferences to mire in their troubles and issues for awhile.

I don't know if anybody has heard or not, but it seems like B1G network is not available in Eugene on Xfinity, does anybody know if it's going to become available on cable?

I was wondering the same thing about Spectrum. I did a little research. But, could not come up with a definitive answer.

  4. Ty is a true Duck and I appreciate all his efforts while at Oregon.

I feel Tulane is a great fit for him and look forward to seeing how he does against the rest of the American Athletic Conference. I think he will surprise many, have fun, and find his place.

He has my absolute best wishes and a sincere THANK YOU!

  5. I'm a huge fan of Bo Nix. But, I am not a huge fan of these types of articles. It was well written and stirs conversation so for that I'm grateful.

As a longtime Oregon fan. I can NOT choose one player as the GOAT. I can choose my favorite. But, I would feel it is impossible to assign the title of GOAT to one player in the schools history. Every year we have a completely different TEAM. Sure, some of the players are the same. But, the skillset and personalities each year brings out a new TEAM.

I will say Bo was this years offensive MVP and for that I am very grateful.

  6. I started watching this game with my normal distain for UW. Pulling for Texas just to spite UW.

It did not take long for me to see who the better team was. It was obvious. As the game progressed I found myself being impressed by Penix and company, agreeing with KD in his interviews, and eventually hoping they would survive the Texas luck-fest... and they did.

The only time I felt sickness and vile was when they showed the purple in the stands. I now know it is ONLY the UW fans I currently have distain for. If I had no knowledge of that fanbase... I would be pulling for UW to win it next week. I won't be. But, I'll admit they have a very solid team. For now I have less hate Maize and Blue than I do for the Purple and Gold.

  7. I do not feel any group of teams they are able to cobble together will garnish an automatic bid to the playoff with the current (next years) conference arrangement.

But, I do feel within a few years (within 10 years) there will be more restructuring of CFB in general. I feel select teams (likely 50-60) from all conferences will be picked for an upper tier league with four divisions/conferences.

I could see OSU/WSU being selected for that. There are BAD teams in all conferences that likely would be left out making room for them. Of course this will only happen if OSU/WSU can stay competitive within that timeframe... which is highly questionable.
