  1. I'm hoping he feels much more confident in his OL than he ever did at AU. If so, I believe the game will slow down for him, plays will be made, and points will be scored. Hopefully a few more than Georgia. Go Ducks!!
  2. Alex, I agree with pretty much everything you pointed out in your well written article... other than the game being played in Athens. If all three of these things come to fruition the Ducks will be in this game with a chance to win. Let's hope this is the case. My gut tells me the Ducks won't get embarrassed. But, Georgia will show they are superior team. Hope to see them again in January.
  3. Georgia 24-17 2 TO 5 Sacks 263 passing yards
  4. The FishDuck Feed is incredible! It is also overwhelming... in a good way. So much to read, absorb, contemplate. I love my Ducks! But, at some point I should try and get some work done!
  5. Most of these player/dealership NIL deals are just free short term leases. Great for the players as they get to drive nice cars. Really doesn't cost dealerships much as most seem to be using high dollar used cars that do not lose a lot of value in the length of the lease. Win/win.
  6. Ha! In my mind this is EXACTLY how it went... followed by "But, I love you like a son."
  7. David, this article nailed it! It perfectly described the shortfalls of the MC era, explained the frustrations that fans felt, and outlined the thought process DL must adhere to get Oregon Football back. Thank you!
  8. He is the younger brother of a real Duck.
  9. Like Dan Lanning said in a past interview... "this isn't 7 on 7 football."
  10. I agree with many of your opinions. But, I must point out that Missouri is in the Midwest... not The South. Granted the Midwest is not the same as PNW... it is far more similar than The South.
  11. and then... He smoked it ALL!
  12. I will say John Canzano's articles of late have been great. O-Live must have really had him on a tight leash. He has really been showing the human side of sports. Now I actually look forward to his emails. I really hope Dan and Sauphia learn to love Eugene and raise their children all through their school years here. It would be great for their kids and incredible for Duck fans.
  13. I don't mind being called overrated. I'm pretty sure from a distance UO probably does look overrated. Luckily we all follow Duck football closer than the national media. We have all the reason in the world to feel confident in this team and our new (and unproven) coaches. Maybe we should pull a Charles and jump on some online gaming site!
  14. I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a rule!
  15. I love this statement by Malchow: "I bought my first house in Eugene... Hopefully, we can stop bouncing around and establish some roots," I really think much of this staff considers this long term! Great news!!
  16. Not overly impressive now. But, I trust the coaches see something in him. His stock will likely be much higher at the end of his senior (hs) season.
  17. Being that the article was written by a UO graduate... I'll take it with a grain of salt. But, I love me some salt!
  18. Yes, USC has some great skill players. But, their OL is VERY suspect. This isn't 7 man football.
  19. I agree that DeBoer is a great coach and I think he could possibly turn that mess up north around in 3-4 years. The good news for us Duck fans is the delusional alum/fan base probably will not give him that much time. I really hope I'm wrong as I miss getting excited for a good UO/UW game.
  20. First injury of the year... I just separated my should running through the wall of my office! Go Ducks!!!
  21. I'm requesting a scoreboard shot if the Ducks pull off the win!
  22. Versatile. I foresee this team being able to adjust during a game when needed.
