  1. That's weird. At the Fairgrounds they were asking if people were over 65, saying they could ride free. It was the same last year.
  2. Yes, black make it look as if no one is in the stands!
  3. Haven't seen it, but it in the Oregonian? In that case, it wouldn't surprise me.
  4. I would love to know what the radio guy (not local) who raved on and on and ON about ND after their LOSS to Ohio State, saying how great ND was, etc., and how great Ohio State was for beating ND says now.
  5. It's going back up--131. Hope it drops again soon.
  6. Down to 114 at Autzen. So improving rapidly.
  7. Is this on TV or only online? If on TV, what day, time, and channel? Thanks!
  8. You;re welcome and have a safe drive! Lowell must be getting the brunt of the smoke now--it is up to a whopping 588 there! (While at Autzen it has already dropped a bit again down to 144.)
  9. The air quality at Autzen is improving. It was 179 about an hour ago and now it is 153. It should continue to improve.
  10. I don't know if I'm reading this correctly, but if I am it looks as if the wind will start coming from the West instead of the East around 2 pm today, which could help clear the air. 11. It is updated rapidly. It is now 170.
  12. Right now at Autzen it is 151: "Some members of the general public may experience health effects with 24 hours of exposure; members of sensitive groups may experience more serious health effects." You can keep track at Purple Air. Just check the circle a little to the left of the intersection of I-5 and 126--that will be Autzen. 13. I think they've switched the color to black for next week's game. I like the idea of Yellow Highlight Night. Makes much more sense than Can't See Anyone in the Stands Black Out Night. Right now according to Purple Air the air quality at Autzen is 100, which is much better than the 155 up the road from my house.
  14. I am really hoping and crossing my fingers that we won't get hit with that smoke! Of course, I'm also hoping it won't get as hot as forecast, but not sure the weather spirits pay any attention to me.
  15. I agree--yellow is best, especially for a game where it will be dark in the second half!
  16. The forecast is for strong winds, but the winds might be coming from the East, and in that case they will be hot. I've got a frozen bottle of water that I'll bring. Did that a few years ago when it was a really hot day and that helped a lot.
  17. Given how hot it is supposed to be on Saturday, the switch makes sense. BTW, is the Moshofsky Center air conditioned?
  18. When I talked to someone at the ticket office I asked about that and was told there are no covid restrictions this year. As for myself I'll probably wear a mask on the shuttle bus and when I visit the restroom, but not when I'm seated at the stadium.
  19. Well, Autzen holds about 60,000 with standing room only, and there are lots of Duck season ticket holders, and local folks would be enthusiastic and amazed if GA (or most any SEC team) would travel here for a game, so there probably would not be 30,000-50,000 tickets available for GA fans.
  20. Ken Woody referred to pad level in his after-game article. He's been referring to the pad levels for a few years now. When are the coaches and players going to pay attention to pad levels!?!
