Charles, as I recall you were somewhat ok with ewe dub beating Texas for the "sake of the Pac" in a previous post.
Well, HELL NO.
The Pac is dead.
A 15 - 0 ewe dub (cuz I can't put the other two words in the same sentence as them) would be the worst outcome since the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
So, I will not even think of it and will disappear into my folks 1962 bomb shelter and leave the world during the Natty should they get that far. Because the fallout from up north would be worse than a nuclear winter.

I prefer a playoff without any team getting a bye.
As for the "other bowls", they have been getting grey water products for the last few years with the opt-outs and sheer number of bowls that a 500 let alone a winning season is no longer a requirement.

The last eight to leave should have seen this coming. That is who is a fault for the Pac pathetic, aka Pac 2, gaining control.
They knew that sc and ucla had forfeited board positions when they announced they were leaving.
Evidently, no one looked ahead to cauterizing the departure to July 1, 2024, and the end of the media rights deal in order to keep their board seats. WHAT AN EPIC FAILURE OF LEADERSHIP!
Hindsight is 20/20, but the departing second wave waved their white canes as they announced their succession.
I guess the Larry, George, Curly and Moe mindset was too much to overcome.

I think that may already be taken care of in regard to the buyouts that are written into the contracts.
