Beavs are Predominate in Another Lawsuit, This Time Getting Props.
According to the filing, the school argues that the Beavers have more “Tier I media football appeal,” and would have been a better target for the conference, than Cal or Stanford. MSN WWW.MSN.COM

Does Capable Mean Probable?
Well, a 12-team playoff with our current staff, roster and recruiting chops/prowess seems to indicate we'll be in the playoffs more often than not. So, getting to the dance is the first step and we seem to have made that. Now, we just have to see how the ball bounces.

Where Our Coaches Rank in the BIG and Nationally in Regard to Recruiting
Don't kill the messenger, but hard to believe bringing in the DL class only rates Tosh 5th in the BIG and 16th nationally. Or, Tuioti 16th BIG and 62nd nationally. Not to mention Dan the man coming in at 63rd in the BIG. Where Oregon's assistant coaches stack up as recruiters nationally and in the Big 10 247SPORTS.COM Here's a rundown of how Oregon's assistant coaching staff stacks up among others nationally and in the Big 10 conference.

Ruh-Roh! Washington's Recruiting Class is WORSE than Vanderbilt's?
Best takeaway from the athlon site is "To make a long story short, Washington lacks the overall roster quality compared to the likes of Big Ten programs like Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State. Unless the Huskies dominate the transfer portal, it's tough to imagine them keeping pace with the top college football powerhouses in the coming seasons. "

Ruh-Roh! Washington's Recruiting Class is WORSE than Vanderbilt's?
I got the same error. So I clicked on athlon sports on the error message and the website came up. I then clicked on college football at the top menu and all the article came up.

Ruh-Roh! Washington's Recruiting Class is WORSE than Vanderbilt's?
I think Penix neutralized a recruting gap. Now that he is gone, I hoping the gap will widen.

USUC Sinking Ship
Not so sure. Might be Justin Flowe 2.0 As the article states: "Obviously, Foreman never lived up to the lofty ranking he had out of high school, struggling to find any consistent playing time and battling injuries at time."

Huskies Got Their Penix Replacement...
I think Penix is much harder to replace than Bo. I don't think I have seen a better pocket passer with some rollout skills in college in years. Bo in Stein's offense will be an easier replacement. I think Rogers will be a few rungs lower than Gabriel in regard to replacement parts. P.S. Can we refer to it as a Penix transplant instead of replacement?

Mario Cristobal Featured Prominently in ESPN's "College Football Bottom 10 Year in Review - Best/Worst Moments of 2023"
Probably three years running. Let's see ... 1) Calls a time out before the first play of the year. 2) Hands off instead of taking a knee against Stanford. 3) Hands off this year instead of taking a knee. The guy is consistent if nothing else.

Did the Oregon Ducks Fail Ty Thompson?
Yes, it was good strategy. But I think he only put it in play when DJ showed some warts a few games in.

Did the Oregon Ducks Fail Ty Thompson?
Was he given a fair shot. I think so, but I wasn't at practice. This last year when he saw action, he had more of a playbook to use. Two years ago, he didn't and didn't seem ready. Of course, he would have had to be VERY special to have beaten out a Heisman finalist. Possibly the same next year. In developing QB talent, the HS players coming in have to think they are the next big thing. If they don't have that attitude, then they weren't going to be. I guess in two years when Akili Smith Jr. arrives, we may see.

Pac 2 Blocks "Normal" Distribution to the Pac 12
Probably not viable: 1) Liabilities don't exceed assets. That is why there is a fight for control. 2) Who has the power to declare. This is main issue No, 1A, who is in charge. 3) Who gets excess after liabilities paid. This is main issue No, 1B.
