  1. Getting a commitment from a solid QB, another top RB, with a few big bodies thrown in would be great additions. Ducks apparently have five 5 star prospects visiting campus over the next two weeks. This coaching staff is getting after it on the “recruiting trail”. They are setting a great example for the entire team by working hard to get their type of guys to visit the Oregon campus and football program. These guys are bringing energy to Eugene. Great work so far coaches. A few more commits will build momentum that many top players will notice.
  2. The Ducks rise to a legit title contender will probably coincide with a Heisman candidate at QB, or RB. Both the offensive and defensive schemes are new for the players. Therefore, I expect some time for everyone to get things dialed in. A high percentage of top recruits has Oregon in their top 5 teams. With a good showing this season the coaching staff builds upon our recruiting momentum. From there I think this coaching staff is fully capable of getting the Ducks to the CFP.
  3. The Ducks got pummeled at home. I won’t even mention the team. Never needs to see the light of day again.
  4. Ducks need to beat Georgia, average +40 pts/game, then beat a highly ranked media darling USC team for the PAC 12 Championship (Ducks have already throttled a highly ranked Utah at home and put them out of PAC title contention). Stranger things have happened. I can be a cup half full guy. Kind of stinks to say zero chance before any snap of the ball has taken place. Bo Nix starts and finishes the season and accomplishes those things, then he is in the conversation.
  5. Go look up Legarrette and tell him he is lying….lol
  6. Tough situation. I always thought that Blount was reacting to a racist comment from that kid. There should have been punishment of that BS moron as well. When he states that “This ain’t about football no more” , I agree 100%.
  7. Need to coach him up regarding the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for spinning the football in college : )
  8. Btw…the panic attack by that cat is hilarious. Good luck trying to ever give that thing a bath.
  9. Thanks for information. Some of those jumps which I assume is in the Alps are amazing. He looks very comfortable literally flying down that mountain. What he is doing is incredibly difficult, and he makes it look easy.
  10. Not familiar with this guy, but watched this recently and this guy is definitely an incredible athlete. This guy can ski EVERYTHING. Next ski season give some of these tricks a try…
  11. With the majors, The Masters, USGA (US Open), The PGA Championship, and the R&A (The Open Championship) most of the top players in the world will stay with the PGA. The LIV tour maybe more like a venue for the +40 crowd and lower ranked players to make some money. To me, it’s like the USFL, good players that are competing, but I am just not interested in following the league.
  12. Any more of the Crouser family have college age kids available? A display of titles and awards from just that family alone is impressive. Never hurts to have world class javelin, discus, or shot put people on the track team.
  13. I like that scenario. I am no so sure they will fall flat on their face. However, the rest of the PAC 12 will sure be sick and tired of hearing how they are going to dominate the conference. I say, Not so fast Troy boys. You haven’t won anything yet. Let’s see where you stand at the end of November.
  14. Buddy of mine has the convertible GT. Pearl white, with a deep rumble note from the exhaust. Beautiful car. Stock photo below.
  15. Micah is in the first heat.
  16. AB was ranked 7th in our conference in passing yards per game. With that high of a completion percentage that tells us what we already know…most of his passes were completed relatively close to the line of scrimmage. I can live with a completion percentage around 60% if we are throwing the ball downfield more often. QB 1 will definitely determine how far this team can go. I remain very optimistic.
  17. The beauty of that is the guys painted orange and shirtless slowly getting hypothermia as the get annihilated…lol
  18. Entertaining flash back. The crowd shots made me laugh. The first of back to back years the Ducks kept the rodents out of the Rose Bowl. Hope you enjoy . (If it doesn’t play, click on YouTube on the bottom corner)
  19. Football gets real at this level. Absorbing hits at full speed by these guys could end up being a very bad day.
  20. My thoughts go to an example like Justin Flowe. He has a good year and he could be off to the NFL….really hope to see him dominate this year, but would be sad to see him leave. Paying huge NIL $$$$ for a player that plays for one year under this scenario certainly doesn’t generate the “return” anticipated (not knocking down Flowe, just an example ). These types of scenarios will play out over the next few years and I hope will bring some sanity to how NIL is approached by each team. While the “big name” QB recruits will probably always generate more NIL revenue under the current system. There will definitely be problems in some locker rooms between the “haves and have nots”. Young men with lots of cash…what could go wrong? Someone is probably writing a movie script as we speak reflecting this type of scenario. A more sensible approach to the NIL payouts to be inclusive of all the players is what I would recommend if I had a voice inside of Division Street.
  21. Kind of makes you want to dance.
  22. What I like about Coach Lanning is that he didn’t wait around hoping something good would happen because of his work ethic. He went out and created opportunities for himself. In a very short time he went from a high school position to working for some very prestigious coaching staffs in the college ranks. He connects with the players, but perhaps more importantly he connects with coaches and has gained their respect. While I expect some bumps in the road because of the learning curve associated with coaching at an elite level. I anticipate that those bumps get smoothed out quickly. Oregon could be a dream job for him. Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted, in one moment, would you capture it? Or let it slip? I think Lanning and his staff will capture it even if their palms are sweaty, knees weak and arms are heavy… Look forward to watching his team and staff drop some bombs on the PAC 12.
  23. Point is, we were a LOT closer to a 9-3 year than folks want to admit." They spent all Spring and Fall practicing to hang 7 points on the Grizzlies last year. Seems to me they were much closer to 3 - 9.
  24. Memorial Day, A day set aside to remember those who have served in our military services. May we have gratitude to the the many brave men and women who sacrificed their lives, or sustained injury in mind and, or body in the course of their service.
