  1. Score on the Huskies - every chance. EVERY CHANCE.
  2. At least the inconsistency has been less inconsistent the last two games. Oh, wait - not sure that makes sense. How about “play every play like it’s your last and make it count!”
  3. I’d get kicked off FD.
  4. Never fails. Just when you think the elitist Dawg is sleeping, he wakes to howl at the moon. Funny thing, it’s overcast in Seattle.
  5. Lots of good comments, but as HayD notes, if we don’t take care of business none of the PO banter matters. Go 1-0 every week for the next 4, get to the Pac Champ game and go 1-0. If a team (or two) trips up, we “should” get in. Otherwise we might just get the PAC shaft and play in Pasadena. Not necessarily a bad ending. Take care of the business we can.
  6. Ty played pretty well back in the Stoneybrook? game. Solid throws, TD’s and read the defense well. Yes, it was SB. He seemed pretty calm taking the reigns against the Buffs, had a nice pass and a run but threw short on the pass just before and might have been pushing it in forcing that pass. We had scored on every possession and maybe that was in his head? I’m sure he wants that one back, and hopefully he’ll learn from that. Certainly did not look “Brownesque” and easy to see on that series why AB is the starter. Then AB comes back in and proves the point. Glad Ty got in there tho, it seemed good timing, we were up by three scores. MC was willing to give him a shot, then take it away with underperforming - maybe there is two lessons there.
  7. Maybe a hidden silver lining with the unfortunate loss of CJ. Dye steps up big and it opens significant playing time for both Cardwell and McGee. They look good for their “young-ness” and it sows optimism for next year. And Dollars should be getting close to returning. A potential three headed monster in the backfield.
  8. And THAT is all that needs to be said.
  9. I think the kids would find a way to substitute coach talk with their fav playlist.
  10. I’m guessing that MC has no time or interest to troll the message boards, even FD While I’m sure MC and the coaching staff are not isolated from idle chatter, they all seem pretty focused on the program, and I’ll bet he gets 100x in praise for whatever “we” dish out his way. Certainly there is critique, second-guessing of play calling, (a first time ? booing), and rumor-making comments about open coaching slots, but all-in-all (in my view) he is respected and supported, and his environment reinforces it. Who gets to go through life without “life”?
  11. Yes, with Ty throwing the ball, not AB. He just does not have the arm for the deep ball. Accept it, and have AB stay to screens, hash marks, mid sideline and edge passes. We have shown we can make good yards after gain. Couple that with him and the RB’s on the ground and we should still be able to move the ball freely if we execute.
  12. These are two key questions that have not asked to or answered from MC. Can’t even imagine what a good honest answer would be.
  13. I think this booing thing has been blown way out of proportion. But that’s what the media does to make headlines. And at the Ducks expense, even better. And we (and MC) play right into it. I was at the game (not booing) and while I didn’t like it, to my ears it wasn’t that big a deal. Happened twice on very poor play calling / execution / or combination thereof. After a pair of three-and-outs. We were 4-1 after a weak showing in beating AZ, and looking like we could lose this game. I was certainly yelling “come on guys” that may or may not have added to the noise, but hey, at that point in time the Ducks were looking like s*^t. Maybe AB got fired up by it and focused? We’ll never know, but he certainly up’d his game. I love MC, but he is too stubborn to get it, IMO. He defends his players (good) but doesn’t accept / reflect that maybe it was partially or all directed at him for play calling. Fans said their thing, MC said his, let’s leave it there. Good win at the RB. This won’t be an issue going forward if we play hard, fast and finish. We have the coaching staff, players and facilities to win. Just do it.
  14. I wouldn’t boo, but they were 4-1 at the time and looking like the lesser team compared to a winless AZ.
  15. Seems every game there are questionable calls against the Ducks, and this game fit the mold.
  16. Unis a definite yes. How cool is it to play in your PJ’s on GameDay?!
  17. The Chipper would have called that okay every time. Make it and you put the game away. Defense is expecting the run.
