  1. I find the response from John Ruiz (the money behind who pulled our last coach away) even more interesting than this NIL demand: "Isaiah is under contract," Ruiz said in a text message to ESPN. "He has been treated by LifeWallet exceptionally well. If that is what he decides, I wish him well, however, I DO NOT renegotiate! I cannot disclose the amount, but what I can say is that he was treated very fairly."
  2. fwiw Kirby Smart officially became HC of Georgia on Dec. 6, 2015, but he had unfinished business as defensive coordinator at Alabama, which was still chasing a national title. He juggled two jobs for a month until Jan. 11, 2016, when the Crimson Tide won its fourth national championship.
  3. I would argue that being in charge of the Georgia Defense had more responsibilities and pressure than 95% of assistants out there. I think he is in a rare class. Yes, he is young, but he is going on 11 years of various roles and working with some of the best Coaches and Programs in college football.
  4. Excellent share DD! This video could be just as easily applied to the Mario and Reality! thread as well...
  5. Herbert 1st Half: 20/25 att; 175 yds passing; 7.0 avg; 3 TD; 0 INT ; 135.4 QBR
  6. On top of conditioning, how many times did we see our defensive unit still looking at the sideline for a play call, while the opposing offense was snapping the ball? I remember this even happened as we were defending inside of our own 10 yard line. And was it ever settled if we were, in fact, lining-up too far back from the line of scrimmage? Avalos was even asked about this in a Zoom presser, but his answer was not very satisfying. Sorry I'm not being more specific here but, this unease about our alignments combined with the perceived lack of conditioning leaves me scratching my head. Thankfully, we have a loaded roster that I know will be better prepared next season. There is a lot to be excited about including some solid additions to the staff. I agree with Mike West, the future is now let's get at it...
  7. SportsPac12 is an interesting sports news website that you linked to CF, I had never heard of them before. I imagine it is somewhat of a template for the new module that you have hinted about, that gathers articles neatly in one location? I especially like their link to the transfer portal which includes a handy search filter so you don't have to scroll through all 142 entries. I wouldn't have, off of the top of my head, guessed that a full 10 former Ducks entered the portal this cycle. Also of note and indicated, is that all but one of them were 3*, Shough being the outlier with 4*. The portal search feature provides a really clear picture of the talent loss and acquisition for individual teams. For instance, USC has lost five players (one 5*; three 4*; one 3*) vs picking up four new 4* players including Ishmael Sopsher.
  8. Here is an exciting, in-house production that was streamed live by GoDucks. It is actually a short film, featuring current players and staff. Cook yourself some popcorn, pour a cold one, and as Kayvon Thibodeaux says at the top of the broadcast, "sit back and relax!" Scooo Ducks!
  9. Randy of course played his first seven seasons in MN, so I'll afford him a pass for trying to give the Vikings some love. But for sure, JH all the way!! Scoo Ducks!
  10. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/30752904/three-major-issues-shape-future-pac-12 ESPN has an interesting list of prospects to replace Scott.
  11. Here is a fun ESPN article from Dec-2019:
