Just to fill in a blank ...
Noah averaged 7.7 ypc in his last full healthy season. Before he was injured last year, he was averaging 7.4 ypc. While I agree with David that this man is an excellent receiver, perhaps he is still working his way back into the groove of running the ball. He IS a fine running back.

I think that there have been justified comments about the quality of the refs. It has been written at length about the PAC-12 officiating being substandard. Now come a few posts that state that these B1G refs might be worse. It has only been a half-season, but I tend to agree with that sentiment.
Regarding the original post, I agree with most of what DuckPop22 stated. But I think there is an important element that was only lightly touched upon. Quality of referees. When they're bad anyone can point biased fingers. But when they're frequently and obviously poor calls, then something else is going on. It has only been a few games that I've watched, perhaps 10 B1G games this year, and I have no horse in any of those except the Ducks.
From what I've seen, the obvious, sometimes horrendous calls have gone inequitably toward the higher ranked teams. As an example, the refs cost a team I detest a game last week. U$C. They should easily have won the game, but consistent calls favoring Penn State denied U$C the win.
So, biases need not prevent us from venting against shoddy craftsmanship. And that certainly was the case the unraveled for OBD last week. And, oh yeah, most of the bad calls did indeed go against the Ducks. The refs may not be biased, but they sure aren't Grade A.

Sadly, my wife has just been diagnosed with lung cancer. I have been free from neck cancer for 21 years. So, we know of the strength and support that is needed to wage war with this killer. It will somehow touch every family, even if distantly. Please give this game extra energy for us.
I'm going to see if I can buy a jersey.

Oregon Ducks' Dan Lanning: Bryan Addison Possible Targeting on Terrance Ferguson
WWW.SI.COM
EUGENE- The No.8 Oregon Ducks remain undefeated (4-0) after a 34-13 win over the UCLA Bruins in Oregon's’ first conference opener as a member of the Big Ten Co -
Addison left the hit on Terrance smiling and laughing. Karma? You bet. He was hurting plenty when he went out of the game with a painful leg injury. He couldn't walk after hopping one-legged off the field.
And after the dirty play on Tez, Wallace pushed Holden in the face! I love it when Traeshon game full speed running after Tez's TD and blasted Wallace in the shoulder (ostensibly on the way to congratulate Tez). Ha, last seen, Wallace was crying to the refs about an illegal hit. Yeah, there was a lot of dirty play by UCKLA. Here is hoping the B1G officials take a look at the game.
And I hope Terrance heals fast.

This is a great article and it filled me with many fond memories. Thanks, NJD.
I watched the Ducks until 1994. It was that year that I became a diehard Duck FAN!

Yeah #7 for Idaho. (7 on 7!). He was white on rice with Stewart most of the game, who supposedly has elite speed.
I keep hearing how Stewart's best ability is on contested catches, although he has been touted for his elite running ability. Well which is it? If you are an elite route runner you won't need to make very many contested catches except at the boundary.
My conclusion is that Stewart is likely not an elite route runner capable of consistently getting separation like Tez.
And something I saw a lot of this weekend is complete capitulation by referees across the country in not calling "bang-bang" pi, where the DB clearly and completely interferes at the last nano second when the ball is a foot or two away from arriving.
It's defacto legal PI cause refs won't call it anymore. As a former WR and DB I think it's a cop out by refs just like them concluding the ground can make you drop a pass even though it can't make you fumble.
I saw Stewart wide open on several occasions and DG did/could not find him, instead opting for the short receiver or safety valve. I blame part of that on the OL.

I just hope our boys are ready for BSU and their offense. They just juked their way to almost 400 yards rushing and laid a solid 56 on Georgia Southern. The good news is that they also gave up 45.

I thought Gabriel missed a lot of opportunities and there were no downfield completions. I'm not too excited about his reading the defense or finding open receivers. There were quite a few. Work needs to be done there.
And golly gee, let's put Mr. FishDuck back on the O-line. So many penalties and missed blocks tonight.
