GameDay Thread versus Washington: Join Us!
IMHO, the game was lost with poor play calling. To many cute plays, and on 3rd and 5 in the redzone, we go empty set and run Bo head into their spy LB. Everybody knew that play was coming. Top it off, our QB is hurt and we are in a position we haven’t prepared for. A backup QB having to save us.

I don’t like Pac-12 refs. But I don’t feel that they cost us this game. We made way too many bad descisions.

That’s not Ty’s fault.

Or their defense is going to run out of time to make an adjustment.

We will see how this coaching staff makes game time adjustments at half. Right now fuskies are dictating the game in many aspects.

WATCH: Coach Lanning's Post-Game Press Conference
I almost enjoy watching his post game pressers as much as the game.

Depends on how bad it is. If it is just a strain, yes. If it is torn, nope.

Cal a Legit Trap Game?
From the post game presser, “The standard doesn’t change, each week we are playing Oregon” It seems that if you have the same opponent every week, then there isn’t a trap game scenario. In all honesty, any past coach that we have had, I would agree about the trap game. But I don’t have that feeling with CDL. We almost got caught with the WSU game. But the buy in hadn’t stuck with the players yet. After they ralleyed for the win, I think it stuck. Each week going forward, we are playing Oregon. The standard doesn’t change. I’m sold and I think the players are as well.

GameDay Thread versus UCLA: Join Us!
I have these same reservations, but I won’t let that diminish the domination they showed today. When it looked like each team was going to score every time they touched the ball, our D held them to 3 FG’s when we were scoring TD’s.

Yes, They are this good. There was nothing flucky about this game for the Ducks. The question is how good is UCLA and because of their victory, how good is UTAH. Ultimately if we are to win out the only thing we have to argue against the UGA loss is that we have beat some quality compitition and gone undefeated.

Wow, It will be interesting to see what Bo was so upset about.

Yea, that was what I was trying to convey.

GameDay Thread versus UCLA: Join Us!
I guess that is one way to look at it. I would prefer with the lead to take away the line to gain and force them to make a play. Instead of giving up a safe easy 4th down conversion.

Did you see KD in the box celebrating? Fantastic.

GameDay Thread versus UCLA: Join Us!
The coverage was way to soft. With the lead we have, we should have been tight on the line with our coverage, to try and put a nail in it.

That drive after shout isn’t going to bode well for the players participating in the future. IMO, based on DL’s comments about it recently.
